Do you agree it is bull when someone tells an ugly person that is struggling in dating, that they would succeed in dating if they became confident?

It is one of the biggest myths in dating. For example, most women will not date a man they think is ugly regardless how confident he is and most men would not date a woman they think is ugly regardless how confident she is. I have known numerous ugly people that have been confident for years and still never had a boyfriend or girlfriend. Also telling ugly people to change their style in clothing doesn't change their face. It is like putting lipstick on a pig. They are still ugly.

what if this truly ugly person looked at them and said what are you talkin about? maybe these ugly people don't know they're ugly and you don't need to tell them that. if they are going after Heidi klum type women, and they look like John c Reilly, I think they know this already. they don't need to be reminded of it by you. they see ugly every time I look in the mirror. like I said, they don't need to be reminded. they just make some resentful especially if they're your friend. like a wise man said though, beauty is not only skin deep it's just what ugly people say.

Yes I agree it is bull shit , when you are ugly nothing will help you. All the ugly people need to start a movement like BLM but call it ULM ugly lives matter. Maybe they could demand the removal of all mirrors, demand every body gain at least 50 lbs, stop all cosmetic surgeries, stop selling cosmetics. This would help level the playing field for ugly people.
