I just noticed today that ugly guys have more confidence than me?

Now granted I’m a guy who lives in my own world. So I never really viewed myself as ugly or good looking. However, I noticed guys who are overweight or just plain ugly and they take pride in themselves and walk as if they are superman and I’m here, not bad looking at all and have low self esteem. Why is that? And have you guys noticed that too?

As an ugly fat guy, I know I'm not going to get any woman who prioritize looks, but luckily that isn't every woman. A lot, yes, but not all. But I'm smart, funny, reasonably successful, I have lots of practical skills, and I know how to lead. Those are qualities that some women value more than looks.

I'm under no illusions of where I am or what my value is on the market, but I am confident and I don't worry about rejections because I expect them already. I also know that, occasionally, the girl will be interested. It's something of a numbers game, plus not reaching too far above my level. I don't chase supermodels or anything.

But why shouldn't I be confident? I understand how women's brains work.

If you know that you’re ugly, and you've accepted the fact that you’re very likely to get rejected by women and society, then you’re going to be fearless. You’ve already accepted the worst case scenario. So may aswell feel good about yourself. Self confidence and comfort within yourself is better than low self esteem.
