Search Results: good qualities in a girlfriend

People often say that people pair up with those that are like minded, and that the good girl pairs up with the good guy and party girl with party guy etc. However, this is an ideal concept and the world is anything but ideal. The reality is that people don't often pair up with those of like minded. And in the case of women being good or bad really doesn't hold much weight when it comes to their attraction towards men. What takes paramount is looks, money and status.

So your a good man. However, you are born average looks and you don't have high social status or wealth. Overall around your time in your early -mid 20's you won't get a good woman to look at you. The reason is because the good woman would be chased by and/or pursue after better looking men, rich men and/or more popular men than you for relationships and looks (hypergamy).
So as a good man your left out with a choice of continuing the course with a lack of love or switching from going after decent women for girlfriends and target lower quality women.

So should good men who are having a hard time getting the good, woman and switch to lower quality women for love?

Example:
Rather than going for a girl who is nice, decent, doesn't sleep around and come from a good family with morals and values maybe start being more open to date a girl who is a stripper and has loose morals and values on things. Tends to be very sexually open also.

I just notice sometimes when I date various women where my friends or other people would mock me, laugh or make jokes about the women I meet up with. If my girlfriend is ugly does that mean I am a failure in life or if i don't get laid a lot, especially with hot women does that mean I'm a loser? I sometimes feel insecure and paranoid on the women I walk around with that I am dating because people keep staring at me and the women I am with. Is this a big deal if I am wanting to keep a good image of my self because I feel people are judging me as a person or my value as a man.

Let suppose you are an attractive guy and dating a girl who is also a looker. She is total fun, cool to anyone within you and your friend's social circle and lovey dovey around you.

She is also very friendly and welcoming to strangers who are attractive, she knows is famous and/or rich. However, any outsiders/strangers that tries to interact with her that does not have any of these qualities such as an average looking guy she turns into a cold frigid ice queen and basically acts like a bitch towards these guys and tries to make them feel alienated/social outcast.

So basically imagine you are good looking guy and/or rich guy and you notice your girlfriend treats people who are not as good looking as her or nearly as rich as her boyfriend like shit.

Would you take that into consideration or do you only care about how she treats you and not everyone else?

Chasing women is a waste in this day and age as you basically place yourself in a position of lower value even if she does give you a chance because you had to come to her. In fact one can make a point if a woman really does want you their will be no chase. I've seen it all before where guys would work weeks, months, maybe even years trying to impress and win a girl over who couldn't really give a fuck about him and would only give him a chance when she gets desperate or needs a backup man/rebound guy after coming out of a breakup.
The same guy whose impressing a girl and trying to win her over. There is a guy who is probably only reply with 3 or 4 words, sometimes single word to this same girl and she's chasing him like crazy and giving him heart shape likes on his FB pics.

Chasing women is pointless and stupid. Focus on your life, build yourself up to a point where women would want to come to you. But this leads to another problem. The quality of women coming to you might not be good quality. Many could be gold diggers, opportunistic women who just want a piece of your hardwork. For a man who has risen to high status male level, women on his level still want to play the upper hand game where men (even on his level) must come to them.

And if you didn't raise your value high enough you might find yourself single for a long time get desperate and start chasing again.

It took me two months to get a girlfriend. After that one, lesson learned, took me another month and a half finding the next girlfriend."
Again putting you back in a position where you give women position of power by being perceived as more valuable and might even be settling for lower quality of stock of girls that you otherwise would of never settle for when you were younger.

So this begs the question chase or not to chase?
