Here's something I was just interested in getting opinions on.

I was never really fond of my body hair. I usually keep my chest and armpits clipped. Not quite shaved, because that gets itchy, but clippers on the lowest setting to remove the hair. Especially in the armpits.

When I was younger, I would shave my legs on occasion, and people like my parents would express some concern. "You know that's more of a girl thing, right?" Though mostly in my mind, it didn't seem right to prefer something in women that I don't do myself. Which is interesting because I don't really mind women who have a bit of hair on their legs. I just think it looks better shaved.

Today, I shaved my forearms. Not just with clippers but with a razor. I just wanted to give it a try, and I kinda like how it came out, myself.

But honestly, I don't hold strong opinions on it. If I'm dating a girl who likes men with some extra hair, I don't mind growing it out. I like the idea of looking good for my SO.

The main exception is probably the face. I keep what is probably 2 weeks of facial hair. Mostly because I really like the definition it adds to my face, and how I can kind of sculpt my facial structure by how I trim it.

But yeah, I just thought it would be interesting to see what women prefer. Or men for that matter. I imagine it differs by political alignment and urban vs rural.

Over my life I’ve had to deal with all sorts horrible incidents with women. Being ghosted. Being (unannounced) friendzoned. Being stood up on dates. Being insulted over things I have little or no control over (physical features I was born with).

All of that sucked. However when I find myself in a role reversal situation I usually try to treat others how I wish I was treated.

For example when I broke up with last girlfriend I really didn’t want to see or talk to her. I knew she was going to go berserk and not take it well at all.

However my girlfriend before me completely ghosted me (after dating for 9 months). The girlfriend before that treated me like I was less then human we broke up (despite me maturely accepting her decision) and gave me virtually no closure. Some of the things she said to me back then still haunt me to this day

Anyway I planned to do neither to my last girlfriend. As excruciatingly uncomfortable/painful as it was I broke up with her face to face and the whole ordeal lasted over 2 hours. She screamed, yelled, cried, made a huge scene and culminated with her threatening to commit suicide. It got so bad her grandmother had to call the police to have her placed on psych evaluation. On one end I truly felt bad for her but another end she inadvertently gave me closure and helped me confirm I made the right decision. I look her up on social media form time to time and thankfully I know she’s still alive

So as horrible as that was at least I was able to walk away knowing I did the right thing. I gave her full respect and closure. Let her say everything she wanted to say. She can look back and know she got it all off her chest. I know that will help her move on faster.

However I have never once in my life had a woman give me that kind of respect. But still do people generally treat others worse when they are mistreated in romantic scenarios?

I had no experience lifting weights until 3 months ago and I am currently able to use 60 lbs with Barbell and 50 lbs with Dumbbells. (Chest Dumbbell press - 35 in each arm, Barbell for some reason I can only lift 40lbs)

For arms though I have to drop 5 lbs compared to Barbells while using Dumbbells.

I am doing a 3 day full body routine per week as I won't be able to go to the gym regularly.

I have fat only around my abdomen and the rest of my body looks normal no fat no muscle either. I know losing my bell fat will take a lot more effort than what I am currently able to put in but I don't understand after 3 months I still don't see any kind of muscle growth in other parts of my body.

My food intake is at 1700 calories recommended for my height and weight was 2100 calories so I chose 400 calories as deficit and my Net carbs and protein intake is 178-190g, fat is 38-40g (40% carbs, 40% protein & 20% fat).

Does it usually take longer if I am using lower weights? Previously I used people and was doing 5 sets x 8 reps but after 2 months I've switched to a full body workout and increased weights by 5 lbs on each side and only doing 5 sets x 5 reps now.

Or do full body workouts take longer to see progress?

Or do I need to increase the weights but keep doing a full body workout?

Or switch to people and increase weights? (I can only go to the gym 3 days a week)
