My friend is pregnant by a guy she's known for 7 years, but has been with for 8-9 months.

Backstory: She was engaged to a different guy last March 2018. Her ex-fiance was with her for 8 1/2 years before they finally got engaged. Then he left her in October 2018. A week later, she was with new guy who is now baby daddy. Neither of them have other kids. I believe she's 2-3 months along.

I always believed in waiting until marriage to have kids. I don't necessarily think that will make a marriage last, but as a teacher, I see a lot of students have kids when they aren't ready, or I know parents who have kids (my students) with someone they thought they loved but several years later find out they actually hate them with a fire red regardless of age. It's great fun being in the middle of that and hear parents trash each other [sarcasm]. I teach 7th/8th graders.

I'm not necessarily jumping at the chance to have kids so I kept my opinion of her pregnancy to myself. But I think it's a topic that's not really discussed a lot in relationships so I decided to ask it here.

How long should you be with someone before having a child with them?

Do guys get it when girl's say these things to them?

1. First of all ... = It's guaranteed that you are in for a rollicking.
2. I'm fine / I'm ok (no sarcasm at all) ... = I'm fine, I'm just thinking about stuff I don't need to share with you. E. g. I should have bought that blue dress. OR I've got something on my mind and I am not ready to reveal it to you yet.
3. I'm fine! / I'm ok! (note the exclamation mark) ... = You've transgressed but I don't really want to make a big deal of it right now. However, we will be discussing it at length later on where I will back up my points with dates, times, social media screenshots and my girlfriend's opinions.
4. R u serious right now? ... = I'm slightly pissed because I told you that I didn't want anything from the shop but I actually wanted you to get me something OR I am about to flail you alive.
5. Say what? ... = Repeat that and omit the offensive bits immediately and then grovel!
6. Who you looking at? ... = I caught you looking at a random 5 out of 10 and I just don't get it! Don't do it again. She's gross.
7. How could you have forgotten that? ... = Idiot! I told you about it 25 times and it's literally my favourite thing!
8. I'm not hungry right now ... = I don't really want to eat something huge or sit down to a 3-course meal but I could nibble on a little something.
9. I just have to bring this up ... = You left the loo seat up and the cap off the toothpaste again and I am reminding you that this is not good.
10. Honey, you are the bestest / greatest man alive ... = I've seen something goddamn expensive and I want you to buy it for me because you love me so much.
11. I love you ... = I love you.
12. I'm just hanging out with Tony ... = Tony is a guy who is a 7 out of 10, makes me feel good and compliments me but I don't really fancy him or want to have sex with him but I know he is hot enough to get under your skin to keep you on your toes.
