a year ago, I started a new job, where I saw the actual most beautiful man I have ever seen. I mean, all of the celebrities and models I had ever been attracted to paled in comparison.
I eventually learned his name, so I started saying hi to him and probably staring a bit more than I should have, because he's so stunning.
He would always stare back, and eventually it was just a weird staring contest thing. Sometimes I would smile at him and he would occasionally smile back, but normally it was just a blank expression.
A few times he tried to talk to me and it was okay, kind of awkward because I was nervous but I found out that he was really nice too, which made me have a full blown crush on him rather than just being attracted to his appearance.
But I found out he has a girlfriend that he's been with for 6 months so I BACKED OFF. Stopped staring, stopped seeking him out for conversation, stopped showing signs of interest.

But since I backed off, he's been staring at me even more and I'm never staring at him first. I happen to look up from my desk and he's staring, he walks by me and glances and then tries to pretend he didn't.. AND one time he came up to me and STARED INTO MY EYES for 5 seconds without saying anything, just like.. intensely gazing into my eyes.

I don't get it - what's his deal?

I have a 21 year old guy friend that I have noticed over the past month has been deteriorating. About 2 weeks ago, he told me that he was abused as a child and he went into detail about what occurred. This past weekend he sent me a screenshot of his tender over snapchat and I responded by telling him that he was wasting his time on tinder. He said he agreed, but is doing it anyways because he has never been loved, so he has nothing to lose. I told him not to say that but he just went on to say nobody cared about him. We talked for a little on snapchat basically saying the same thing over again. He ultimately said he has never had a girlfriend, held hands, been kissed, or had sex. He went on to say that he was done talking on snapchat for the night because this was making him cry. At the time, I honestly thought he was just seeking attention because I have never seen him cry and he always seems emotionless. Yesterday, we talked again about things and he began crying in front of me. I told him that he is letting what happened define him and he should not. I know its hard when he had to go through abuse for years, but I feel like he needs to let go. I told him that he needs to get help, but he says he is afraid to because he never told anyone else and he does not want to get hurt by anyone in a position of power again.
