I have been having a lot of problems lately determining what I need and want from a partner. I have my ex, whom I love very very much, but for some reason we just clashed a lot and the fighting led to a breakup. I feel us possibly getting back together soon, but as much as it would hurt me... I feel like I should just give me and him both this opportunity to find someone else. At least for now until maybe one day we reconcile. Do you believe that people are just for "meant" each other? and if so, how do you know when you have found that person you are meant to be with? I love my ex so much. But I don't want to go through another breakup and I don't want either of us just staying in this for the sake of trying. I want to feel 100% about it and I want him to as well. I have just been very unsure of our relationship lately.

guy friend of 2 years eft a few days ago. he put it off for a while and he tried to get me to ask him to stay but i couldn't... last time he tried was the last i saw him. he didn't even say good bye but left me a note saying he's been in love with me since we met and a whole bunch of explanations about miscommunication and reasons he never said anything. it all makes sense and i know how difficult things were especially because i've always been very uncomfortable with expressing feelings and feeling them. i never told him i'm in love with him too. i know its probably kind of too late to be together bc he left and probably decided to move on bc i never gave any indication i'm interested in more, but i still want to tell him how i feel. i know some of you will say i should leave him be but its important to me to tell him so i've decided. i'm going to take a trop to see a friend and on my way i'm stopping in his home town. ask him if we can talk. if he says no i have a letter to give him he can read it or not in his own time.

i'm tempted to just go to his house and if its a bad time i can stop by on my way back. we've never been good at organizing things by phone and i'm concerned hell think its a trick and not show up, whereas seeing me seems to have a calming effect most of the time... however if its not one of those times if he's hurt/ defensive, and i show up he might be angry hell refuse to talk, so I don't know.

he did show up at my house without telling me and walked in without even knocking to tell me how he felt, so i wouldn't technically be doing anything worse especially since ill knock.

honestly id just like to get this done in as few steps as possible. if i just show up he's there or not and i can give the letter if not. ill probably never see him again so i feel like i can afford to do one big thing once. plus if he actually has been in love he should be glad to see me-no? i also feel like its braver to just show up. i want to BE there. not ask.
