So this kind of stuff can greatly vary depending on the area you live, what's typical around where you live, your own personal values regarding modesty and such, etc... but what do you in specific think?

As for me, personally, a woman's outfit never truly becomes "provocative" unless she either shows cleavage or butt cheeks. Other than that, I'm not bothered AT ALL... not even slightly distracted.

A woman could be wearing some really small short shorts that bare all of her legs, a sleeveless top in which shows her stomach and back, etc... just basically a sports bra and gym shorts, or a slightly more coverage than normal bikini. But as long as she's not showing cleavage or butt cheeks, I'm not distracted. She could show up at a professional interview that way, and I just wouldn't care.

The reason why is simple...the boobs and butt are really the only blatantly sexual parts of a woman. The arms and legs are just... limbs. A stomach is just... a stomach. It's just skin with a belly button. And the back is just... a back. It's just skin with some shoulder blade bones. Nothing more, nothing less. Now the boobs and butt... they're actually sexual.

As a 176 cm (5'9") tall guy weighing 71 (157 lbs) kilograms, living in the land of giants, it always feels like finding the right fit of clothes for me is a herculean task.

I have to keep getting XS slim-fit shirts just to avoid looking like a flag pole.
I have to get cropped pants so that they can look like normal-length pants on my stuby-ass legs.
I have to ask the person behind the counter whether they have any smaller loafers than "this", so that they don't slip off my penguin paddles.
I have to go straight to the smallest size they have on the rack, only to conclude that the "S" size blazer is still too big for me.

And the worst thing is, on my way out of the store, being depressed about how I can't find any properly fitting clothes, once again...
I pass a guy who is literally a head shorter than me!
What on Earth does HE get to wear, then?

So I pretty much just found these 2 pictures on Google, on some website talking about embarrasing skirt stories... apparently these 2 women both did a photoshoot of themselves wearing cute dresses... and then after the photoshoot they went to hang out with their friends on a night out, but had to go home to put on jeans and wear the dress as a sort of long shirt because apparently the dresses were too "short" and "embarrassing" to wear out in public. While they never flashed, they said they "almost did." They also said that while standing up the dresses were only a bit more than a hand above the knee, but rose up to almost their thighs as they sat.

But as for me, personally... they don't seem that short to me. Maybe it's because I live somewhere hot and women wear dresses that length all the time, but they just don't seem that short.

For the girl in black, if she's gonna sit like THAT than sure, it's too short... but if she sat normally, than no. As for the one in pink... she's doing it perfectly, even in the photo. Just sit with legs together, or crossed. It's miles away from actually flashing her underwear.

Also, when they wore jeans with the dresses, it did NOT look good. It looked so much better when they wore JUST the dresses as shown. Those dresses were made to be worn bare legged! Plus, if flashing was really that big a deal to them, some spandex booty shorts would've done the trick much better.

So one day ago, me and my friend were having an argument about this woman's legs... I personally said they were amazing perfect legs. Silky smooth and spotless, even with a slight glow to them (in which is pretty rare to see in white girls, it's more common in black girls or olive skinned tan girls!)... thinner at the bottom but thicker at the thighs.

However, my friend said they're not bad, but just simply average legs, and that he's seen better. He said that the thickness contrast in between the calves and thighs is just a bit much, and that her legs are shorter than what he usually likes.

And so I just posted this post on here to see what people generally think of this specific woman's legs... also, don't worry about this woman's privacy. She's an internet model with several pictures similar to this one. But this is the one where she wears the shortest shorts of all, and gets into a position that really puts emphasis on her legs. It doesn't show her ass, but they're some really short shorts in which basically leave her whole legs, thighs and all bare.

So growing up, my parents weren't very strict with the way my sister dressed at all. The only rule was no butt cheeks and no boobs spilling out... but other than that, my sister could wear all the upper-thigh length shorts, tank tops, above the knee skirts/dresses, and crop tops she wanted. Plus, my mom often wore thigh length shorts and tank tops too, so it'd be hypocritical for her to not let my sister wear them. We lived in Florida, after all.

As for swimwear, as long as it was secure (no ties) or anything and at least relatively modest (no thong, no overboard cleavage), my parents didn't care for my sister's bikinis either.

However, not every girl has had it as easy as my sister did...I had a female friend whose parents absolutely forbid her from wearing anything knee length or above. And we lived in Florida! Meaning the coolest thing she could wear was capris or a skirt/dress below the knee.

I also had a friend whose parents wouldn't even buy her a swimsuit, because they thought that even the most modest swimsuits were too revealing since they still show the arms and legs. So she couldn't ever go to the pool or beach. The pools/beaches were the best part about Florida!

So where did your parents lie? Did they not care? Were they super strict about modesty? Were they somewhere in between?

Some of you might be teen girls STILL living with your parents, and that's fine... I just assume most girls on here are adults. But you can answer too.

So ever since I was a teen, I always really admired the look of silky smooth hairless legs. I never even associated it with "sexiness" or "femininity", I just simply thought it looked really cool and felt great to the touch! However, I sort of refrained from it at first due to the social stigma around it. But one day, I just didn't care anymore. I asked my sister to borrow her razor, and she laughed, but was cool with it as she's really easygoing. And I never stopped ever since. They just felt SO smooth, and it was so nice feeling them feel things! Especially after showering and freshly washing the sheets!

From then on, I went from knee length shorts to mid-thigh length shorts. When my legs were hairy, longer shorts looked better. But when they became silky smooth, shorter shorts just looked infinitely better. I still own the knee length shorts but since I shave practically everyday, they're not as necessary anymore.

And I overall have a pretty good life. I have a girlfriend I've been with for 8 months, and she loves that I shave my legs. She says that since she shaves her legs to be silky and smooth, there should be no problem with me doing it as well. Another good thing is feeling shaved legs against shaved legs. I just love rubbing my legs over her legs! It feels great! And we both wear shorts a lot and almost never pants! Her shorts are shorter than mine since she's a girl, but they're still shorts.

However, I still do get a bit of flak from my friends for shaving my legs... it's not super serious persistent flak, but every once in a while when hanging out it comes up like once or twice a week. So that's where the title question comes in.

So my girlfriend... while she is undoubtly a beautiful woman, and she does her best to keep her legs/body silky smooth and hairless, as a human being she just can't help that it grows back.

Many of my guy friends completely turn down their gf's when their legs aren't shaved, making them feel so ashamed that they go shave instantly.

But I... I'm not like that. In that aspect I'm better than them. I just sleep with her as I normally would. Plus, since we truly love each other we're able to accept that we're not 100% perfect.

It's admittedly not as thrilling, as I'd rather feel soft skin than body hair... but I love her way too much to let her down over something so trivial and natural.

However, that doesn't mean I don't LOVE IT when she DOES shave her legs.

It's then like, "Oh yeah! Your legs are so smooth and perfect looking! Not a single hair and they glow a bit! I like to hold them and rub my face on them and feel them all day!" Plus, my girlfriend naturally has good skin and moisturizes to make them even softer... making things even better.

But still, when she DOESN'T shave I don't put her down. I still make love to her the same way. I just don't pay so attention specifically to her legs.
