So I pretty much just found these 2 pictures on Google, on some website talking about embarrasing skirt stories... apparently these 2 women both did a photoshoot of themselves wearing cute dresses... and then after the photoshoot they went to hang out with their friends on a night out, but had to go home to put on jeans and wear the dress as a sort of long shirt because apparently the dresses were too "short" and "embarrassing" to wear out in public. While they never flashed, they said they "almost did." They also said that while standing up the dresses were only a bit more than a hand above the knee, but rose up to almost their thighs as they sat.
But as for me, personally... they don't seem that short to me. Maybe it's because I live somewhere hot and women wear dresses that length all the time, but they just don't seem that short.
For the girl in black, if she's gonna sit like THAT than sure, it's too short... but if she sat normally, than no. As for the one in pink... she's doing it perfectly, even in the photo. Just sit with legs together, or crossed. It's miles away from actually flashing her underwear.
Also, when they wore jeans with the dresses, it did NOT look good. It looked so much better when they wore JUST the dresses as shown. Those dresses were made to be worn bare legged! Plus, if flashing was really that big a deal to them, some spandex booty shorts would've done the trick much better.

I don’t know how tall these women are but they might just be really tall. I seek out short dresses because I know they’ll fall to just above my knees! Also, I think everyone has their own preferences as to which length of dress they feel comfortable in, and that should be what’s most important.

I guess they look kind of tall... but then again, there's no one to compare them to, lol.
Just above your knees, hmm... is that because you're short and any longer dress will look too long on you, or you're tall, and just above your knees is perfect?
And yes, your own comfort/preference is definitely the most important part! :D
Haha yeah I’m on the short side. A lot of dresses are marketed towards taller women so I can’t buy them, but the extra shirt stuff fits just nice. Once I bought a jumpsuit and thought ‘wow I don’t need to shorten this’ and then I walked out of the shop and realised that the mannequin was actually wearing it as 3/4 length and I was just that short haha
I'll be very subjective on this matter because I am into short dresses. Haha. I like them and yes, they are short, but nice and they suit perfectly the girls in the photos. But! Chubby girls should be careful while wearing this kind of dresses, might be tricky.

While I have nothing against chubby girls, yeah, I agree. Longer dresses probably suits them best.
Well regardless of what looks best on them, I believe people should just wear what makes them happy.
Plus, as a chubby girl wearing short dresses, you probably have less of a risk of flashing your underwear than slim girls, since your legs/thighs are thicker and cover up the distance in between your legs.
Plus, some chubby girls look surprisingly good in short dresses! And you seem quite pretty from your profile pic. So I'd say go for it ;)
And if possible, and if you're comfortable with it, post a picture of yourself wearing a dress sometime. I'm sure you'd look great! But you don't have to, though. Only if you're comfortable with it.
I think anything that barely covers the butt is too short, but people have different lengths they are comfortable with. I wouldn't personally wear anything shorter than just over the knee.

That's true indeed. It all depends on what you're comfortable with :)
as long as your comfortable wearing something I would say it's a go. There's a lot of stigma about revealing clothes but in the end its about you. (with reason of course, lingerie probably isn;t the best for school)

I completely agree. In my area, since it's so hot, there's not a lot of stigma about bodies and such... but I know in other cooler areas there are indeed.
And of course, lmao. Lingerie isn't even the best for the beach. It's only place is in the bedroom, lol.
Depends the situations. i guess lol... cause those legs look so sexy. and in most situations men will tempted to stare so bad lol... even girls would check out hot ones hardcore...

Out of those 2 girls, which one would you say has slightly better legs than the other? I'd say the blonde one since she looks a bit younger... but fuck it, both are really hot, lol.
And beauty is quite subjective, darling. To me you really are quite beautiful. Plus, just in general, I'm really attracted to light brown/naturally tan/olive skinned women. Not too light, no too dark.
Plus, while I like the way a tan looks on a naturally white woman, it's quite dangerous and could lead to cancer... but if your skin is already like that, it's just perfect!
I can see why guys'd do that, your skin tone is absolutely beautiful!
About that third sentence, well just what can I say... that really sucks! Do you live in an area where Whites are racist to darker skinned races, or where darker skinned races want lighter skin?
But regardless, don't listen to the people/society/media around your place! Rock your golden brown skin with pride! Besides, acne shows up less on darker skin, and dark skin ages better. Plus, people don't see your face turn red as you blush, and you rarely get sunburned unless you spend THAT much time outside.
Plus, I don't even think you're "dark." If you're compared to super fair White people, then yes... but compared to African people with dark brown skin, you almost look "white" in comparison, lol. I'd overall say your skin is "medium." Not too light, not too dark, like I said. Dark enough to have some color, light enough so your teeth and eyes aren't too glaring. Just perfect! :3
I like the black one, I’d be cautious about the pink one though.

Yeah... the black one isn't even really short. It's just that the position she's in sort of makes it look short; but that position seems intentional to the specific photo just so she can look cute. If she just sat normally, it wouldn't look short at all.
Ah, that's understandable. Plus, with skirts you can still mix and match a bit, and be more original... whereas with dresses it's basically the whole outfit...
If you mean as we are now, then it's the opposite... you're a pretty curly haired lady, I'm a hairy guy. You'd look much better in these dresses than I could ever hope, lmao. These dresses are too short for me, but not for you, lol.
But if you meant like a hot female version of myself... then yes, these dresses are indeed not too short for me.
But of course, that's just a joke. It all comes down to personal preference :)
