So I've looked around the internet for a bit and I've only seen guys asking if they should send a happy birthday, but not much about girls typical motivations they might feel while in this conundrum.
id love to know the female's perspective on the motivations.

We've known each other a long time us both growing up in the same church, im 27 she is 22.
We didn't talk much as kids, but 3 years ago i started to get the feeling she was developing a bit of a crush.
She would rub up against me while passing me by seeming to not notice or care that her stomach just grazed my butt.
She would always be around me during public hang outs, she would ask me to walk her to washrooms, she would separate me when looking too happy talking to other girls by acting all cute pulling my arm and saying she needs to go pee. She would randomly bite my shoulder or quickly lick my my leg in public when sitting between them while i was on the my laptop.

We'd text every day for a bit, and the climax was when i got back from a 2 week vacation and we hung out on a couch and she put her head on my lap and we talked for a few hours and i got in her pants and started to play with her ass.

A few weeks later things slowly cooled down, we don't talk much now, but still share the occasional LOOK.
because covid we haven't seen each other in over a year.
This year though i consciously didn't text her on her birthday because the year before she didn't message me on my birthday, petty i know, (our birthdays are 5 months apart).

This year i got one, we haven't really talked for about 2 years. (Don't have fb and don't do bday stuff on ig)

It went as follows.
Her: happy birthday!!
Me: thanks (name) i appreciate the birthday wishes 😁 hope you're doing well.
Her: im doing great anyway enjoy being 27.
Me: I'll try, thank you.
I know nothing special, but the only other girls that messaged me happy bday definitely have a crush on me, so just a bit confused, Girls please help

I just made a point in a question before that throughout history, war and a common enemy have been the strongest way to unite people in times of civil disagreement. In 2001, 9/11 united America briefly for a few years. Do you think a war with dangerous communist China would be the best thing for America and uniting the country?

I think it would unite Americans. Make no mistake; many in the US (mainly, on the left) are turncoats and traitors and directly working with China, like Activision-Blizzard and the NBA, but I think even those on the left would not tolerate traitors trying to kill them in the name of Communism. I think it would make rational liberals step away from Progressive Communists, and bring us all closer together. Basically, "If you want to protect Communist China, you'll share their same fate."

I don't LIKE that it would bring us together, but as I said, humans are tribalistic and stupid and usually need a common enemy before they can unite with each other. Especially after ten years of evil billionaires and the media intentionally tearing us apart. Better that enemy be Communist scum than each other.

War with China likely wouldn't even be traditional army war, anyway. It would be intellectual and financial war. But I'm 100% all for finally teaching these red Commie bastards a lesson.

I'll start off with some context.

Me and my partner have been courting since September, and she pretty much moved in straight away, staying 3 days a week, then 4 etc. She officially moved in in February, but was pretty much living here full time anyway.

Now, she's been off for the last 3 weeks, finally managed to get her to tell me what was wrong (was like pulling teeth) and she feels like she needs more time to herself. That's fine, no problems with that, but it's escalated so far that I'm not sure time apart will fix it now. The main problem has been that I've been unable to work due to lockdowns, so end up spending almost all day in the house and she is pretty much the only human contact I get.

If you and your partner were in such a situation, do you think it's doomed or is there a way to pull back from this?
