I remember as a girl I always dreamt of a daughter... dressing her up. playing with her. going on mother daughter activeties... then it hit me in 2013 I'm pregnanot. .. I was so glad happy exited all once... I called my mother and she was happy. we all wanted our baby girl. my sister was like you better have a girl... lol but months later I was scared to take the ultrasound... we eximined the heart rate... then she announced the gender..."it was a boy" my heart jumped out chest... I started crying for that girl in my mind... I was so depressed I had to take anti depression pills... four years later and I still miss the girl in my mind... I look ato him and say to in my mind this is my child too. I birthed him... why was so against having a boy? I love the super heroes too I love the legos too. I love power rangers and xmen too... my question is why are so sexist in our preferences... I hug my son wit has an I am sorry emotion. I hug him with I am sorry for my selfish behavior toward you. I hug him and feel the testosterone he projects. I love him for being mine.

My spouse (white male, 36) says he's gonna throw up when he sees interracial sex on TV. iworry about how its going to effect our son. He's Disgusted by male/male sex/relationships and says disrespectful racist/homophobic things about people, though not to people. He claims to be Christian but I don't see how that is being Christian. He thinks the bible says to stick with your own kind and it does teach tbat homosexuality is wrong. But it doesn't say people tgat do those things deserve less respect. How can I get him to admit he is racist. He says I have black friends etc so im not racist. but refuses to be anywhere near homosexual men, lesbians disgust him but not in the same way. How can I handle this It has almost broken us up many times. He doesn't see how he is doing anything wrong.(Hes never wrong) even if I prove he is, he refuses to listen or admit it. He will not consider other new views or doresearch on something that he 'already knows". it has very much begun to seriously negatively affect our relationship. I understand if he just disagrees for personal preference or (homosexuality) because of religious views, but that is no reason to treat someone less than or be rude to or jump to conclusions/generalize. I. e"all refugees, Muslims, Jews are murderers, rapists want to ruin the country are bad people etc. How can he say that! I'm so sick of having to argue over things that I believe are obvious and he is SO ignorant but refuses to learn, study open himself up. What is the vest way to handle something like this!!! I don't want to hear " break up."ijust want advice on ways to convince him he's wrong, how to handle the arguments and how to encourage him to learn and be more open minded less judgmental and racist. and is it racist to think that people of different raves shouldn't be together? or to think it is wrong or disgusting? thoughts? He grew up in a very racist town with a bunch ofcrazy wild white supremecist skinheads for friends (for background)?
