So I met a guy on Hinge a few weeks ago. I’ve been busy for the past few weeks, so finally had the chance to meet him this weekend. He was accommodating of my schedule and insisted that he will change up his schedule to work for me.

Friday night, we met up for drinks at a romantic bar (he’s new to my area and wanted me to show him around). It was chill and I have to say, he’s a talker (wasn’t really that way whenever we text so it was a pleasant surprise). Like, he talked A LOT. Didn’t completely mind because I hate small talk, I just wish he asked me more about me. Left the bar, went on a long walk around the city since the weather was nice. He was a gentleman the entire time, making sure I was on the inside of the sidewalk, arm around me etc. Overall had a good time and he asked (2x when we were out, 3rd when he walked me to my door and we kissed) when he’d get to see me again.

We end up making plans for the following night. B/c I wasn’t free until very late at night (lot of places closed), we decide to have a chill night at his place. He picked me up and I met one of his best friends (it sounded like he told him about me before). We made a late dinner together then ended up hooking up. I was in my head because pretty much the entire time, his eyes were closed. I was feeling some type of way b/c I thought, maybe he wasn’t enjoying it (even though he finished) or maybe he was thinking about someone else.

So we finish with that, he takes care of me, and we talk a bit and cuddle for the rest of the night. Sneaking kisses in between, gave me a forehead and shoulder kiss. Really seemed like he wanted me to stay- when I’d try to get up to get water for example, he’d cuddle me tighter so I wouldn’t go (in a cute joking type of way). He drove me back home this morning and again, asked when he’d see me again, so we have plans for dinner/drinks this weekend.

Based on this, does it sound like he’s into me? The eyes closed/not asking enough about me makes me question.

My boyfriend and I had been dating for over a year. But we were official for 7 months. He mention about his ex here and there. I don’t want to hear it, and I don’t find it interesting. For example, we were talking about tanning and he talked about how his ex got burnt bad on vacation. He even brought his ex up in front of his family before. I will admit I mind these things because she’s the past. I don’t bring up my ex unless we are talking about our past relationships. I definitely won’t bring up my ex in front of my family and him.

They don’t contact anymore for almost 2 years. But they still have each other on Facebook. Her entire family is also still on his Facebook. I realized his Facebook status shows single. In a very casual way I told him that I noticed yours says single. He just reminded me that his Facebook is clearly not up to date about his life, and how he’s not that social media type. I suggested to at least hide it, and he didn’t do anything left it at single. He also not the type to post things on Facebook, and the only photo we have is the one that I tagged him.

These things adds up, and it makes things look bad for him. I am not asking for him to delete the ex or anything, and I understand maybe he just don’t care. But at least not to show to the public that you are single.

If I chat about it to him, how should I start the conversation?
