During an interview I today, the lady stopped and had another worker come in and observe. It was clear that it was something that wasn't usually done and the second lady was just looking at my resume then asked me some questions.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm just really confused and don't know what to take from it. She really didn't say anything positive except "we'll be in touch," so I have no idea where I stand.

It has been a very big topic of debate recently in France. French minister for women's rights Laurence Rossignol has said: "Of course some Muslim women choose to wear the veil, there were American "Negroes" who accepted slavery" in an interview with French media.


Furthermore, the 85-year-old Yves Saint Laurent co-founder, Pierre Bergé, also bashed the designers who cater to Muslims saying: “These creators who are taking part in the enslavement of women should ask themselves some questions”.


What are your opinions on this issue?

I don't mean to sound conceited here, but I did well in school and got all the grades needed for university.

I took time out to work for three years in education... since that's the route I want to go down anyway.

However, a requirement for re-entering university was that I attend an interview. So I did attend one on Friday.

I felt that the female interviewer disliked me, she was screwing her face up a lot while I did my presentation. And apart from that, she never seemed to notice me either. She was a tutor from the university.

Anyway, the second part of the interview was an individual interview where I was asked 8 questions. The whole time, the woman was taking loads of notes and so was the man that was interviewing me. She had asked how I was feeling and I said I felt 'fine' because that was exactly how I felt. She later followed that up with a snide comment saying 'no matter how well prepared you are, it's never as easy as you think' which annoyed me because I never once thought it was easy and stressed over the whole thing.

Despite that, I answered my interview questions absolutely perfectly. There was no hesitation, I had researched everything well and I also have three years of experience. I was quietly confident, very polite and answered all of the questions very succinctly. I actually had a really good feeling overall about the interview.

However, today I was absolutely shocked to receive an email stating that despite the fact I had the entry qualifications I 'didn't seem to have enough knowledge/understanding regarding the course I had applied for'

again? I know I may sound conceited - I'm not trying to be. I can admit when I've failed or when I've did wrong. But I absolutely smashed my interview and displayed excellent knowledge from start to finish.

despite this, I still got a big fat rejection. I have written to the university looking for feedback. What do you guys think?

i had an interview with Rutgers nursing school yesterday and I just want someone's opinion on how I did.

I was interviewed by 3 people at the same time.

First question was why nursing?
I said : well I always knew that I wanted to be part of the medical Felid but I was not sure with profession in the medical Feild. But it all changed when I cut my hand with glass and I went to the er. I said in the ER I noticed that the nurse was the one taking care of me and she was the one stitching my hand. She made me feel better and calmed me down. I noticed that I actually did not see a doctor that day and the nurse was the one who stayed by me. She made me feel better and I was very satisfied after leaving the ER. I want to become a nurse because I want to help care for people and be there for them. I want them to feel the way I felt after leaving the ER.

Then another asked
why our school?
I said I love this nursing school because of its high reputation and the way it values its students.

are are you spoiled?

I was very thrown off by this question , but I said. I don't consider my self spoiled I said my parents try to statisfy my need but I don't really ask for much and I am very great full and thank full for everything I have. When I visit my country and see how some don't have what I have its an eye opener for me and its makes me more apprichative for what I have.

So i just came back from a job interview and the job is perfectly suited for my needs. Its right next to my house, its at an espresso stand and im really into coffee and espresso and thats where most of my experience is, and they're hiring for a graveyard shift person which is ideally what i want.
At the interview she asked basic questions and than when i left she didn't let me know about any specific time line in reference of when shell be hiring. She just said if i were to get the job id have to go to auburn and fill out paper work and go from there
Im really nervous because i need this job and i was going to call back Friday at 1pm to see if the position has been filled
When i left i shook her hand and just said thank you
