Search Results: signs of a control freak

so i hang out with this guy and i decided id try hanging out alone. he said he was interested but things were hectic with school. which i believed but just in case it was an excuse , i backed off. coincidently when he asked me out i was in the middle of non stop rehearsals so i couldn't. i didn't suggest an alternative time bc i wasn't sure if he was interested or it was a whim,. later on when i had time i asked him out. he got flustered and it caught me off guard so i just said i had to go and walked away. felt kind of weird about that but he acted normal afterward so i didn't think of it.

he started talking about stuff he wanted to do-it was all my favorite hobbies and favorite places so later i asked him if he wanted to hang out and he get flustered again. so i said look if you are not interested it is really 'ok'. id just like you to tell me. he said he did want to hang out , so i asked why he was getting upset. he said he didn't want to talk about it. we still hung out casually and he asked me out but i feel like he can only be alone with me if he initiates it and that makes me really uncomfortable. not sure what to do.

and guys i know things were confusing. so i gave him some leeway. but things were confusing for BOTH of us. it does not explain why he freaks out if i ask him out but is ok hanging out if he asks me. i have never freaked out when he asked. even if i could not do it i was still 'calm'. its almost like he does not want me to think i have a right to ask. but I don't know if i'm just assuming.

obvious thing is to talk to him about it but last time i tried he would not do it. though it was in the middle of public. maybe he will do it in private, I don't know

what do you think? should i ask him about it and if he won't talk i just move on?

i am definitely not comfortable dating a guy who has to control things, I don't know if thats it but its a bad sign. i think.

known each several months.

both of us are picky and neither of us are interested in other people atm.
