I am referring to the decade 2000-2009. Most of my school-age years were during this time. I would have to say my most favorite childhood year was 2004.

I believe the early-to-mid 2000s were the best, just prior to the Obama era. Most of this PC and SJW bullshit wasn't running rampant, and I feel there was order overall and everything held together fairly well. The divisiveness wasn't as apparent, but then again, I was an innocent child.

2004 was the year of the first SpongeBob Movie (before the show went to shit), mainstream pop and alternative was good, and I was rocking that GameCube, enjoying my Zelda Windwaker and Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of the Cortex. The town I grew up was a good, upper-middle-class family suburban town. It wasn't too crowded or crazy. The megachurch I went to had a good summer Vacation Bible School Program with state of the art performing arts with a Lord of the Rings theme. I had an awesome babysitter and we used to act goofy and make noises. Everything was still affordable and I didn't remember any money troubles. Kids still played outside and rode bikes and went trick-or-treating during Halloween. Christmas was still magical.

There are most certainly good things I have now that I wouldn't trade. Still, I reminisce about the good old days.

I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months until we broke up about 3 weeks ago (another reason by her which i found out was a cover up for what she did) and our relationship has been fine until about 4 months ago, when she became friends with this one guy, which i didn’t like.

I told her on multiple occasions that his intentions weren’t good and that i heard from his friends that he wanted to hit on her. I of course told her this and she didn’t believe it, and told me that she knows how he acts and how he would never do such a thing. She also said that if i trust her and love her that i wouldn’t get worked up with this because she wouldn’t ever do anything as she is not interested in him.

She kept hanging out with him multiple hours a day even when i told her not to.

Fast forward to to a couple days ago, when we were already broken up, i was told by a friend of the guy that she cheated on me with that she cheated on me while i wasn’t in the country for the summer vacation, and while she was still dating me. After i confronted her she got defensive and didn’t admit at first, but when shown a picture of the hickeys that she gave to the guy, she admitted. She said that she broke up with me because she felt guilty but couldn’t tell me the truth. So we were together for about a month after she cheated.

She has been nagging me for the past days saying how she didn’t remember what happened as she drank too much, and that she has no interest in him and that she would do anything and stop seeing anyone if i gave her a second chance. She told me that she would prove me wrong and that she would change and she would never do such a thing again. I still love her and i don’t know if i should get back with her or give her some time to fix herself.

My girlfriend has been sexually rejecting me for 8 months now. At first I thought we were just having a dry spell and she just needed space.

Recently I organized a summer vacation for us. Again, she was talking really sexual. Saying “where gonna have so much sex”, my vagina will be all yours for 4 weeks, and we’re gonna have sex in car”. We only had 3 times on our trip after begging her for it.

I had so many thoughts of her potentially cheating so I set up a decoy. My buddy rob had sex with her in the past. She doesn’t know that me and rob are friends. So I asked rob to text her and she responded and chatted with him for a bit. At first, she was honest and told me a guy named rob from her past messaged her, but. Now things are getting sour.

Right now at this very moment she’s laying beside me sleeping. And again, she refused sex like always. So I asked rob to call her multiple times, she woke up and kept declining. I asked her “who’s calling?”. She lied and said random number 😬

Is the irony of this global technology outage that, in the southern hemisphere, here it's bitterly winter. In the northern hemisphere (and jealously some people on holidays/vacation from the south up there enjoying summer Europe summer America's) lol - this global tech outage has kind of irony to it ; people's plans ruined again by, not Covid this time, yet by technology. Lol. Is that, irony? After all, I've been working, just like the rest of you, not out enjoying European vacations or American summer bliss. Lol 🌞⛱️ irony? Ah well. Anyways, I'm back at work in a week.

Do you have any? Looks like I am probably not gonna have any again this year either. I don't get PTO at my job.
