I'm in the very early stages of seeing this girl and she's mostly fantastic, but she does a few things that just seem a bit controlling.

It's not particularly big stuff, but it's stuff I notice.

Like she won't let me chat with other women in our friend group alone. Especially not if she picks up any kind of friendly or playful energy between us. She'll force herself into the conversation, if I don't invite her over. I can see her get increasingly annoyed until she just does it herself.

She'll also hide it from me if she's hanging out with other guys, but she'll tell me honestly if I ask. There's nothing romantic though, I know she's genuinely just friends with them.

She does some other things too, but I'm sure you get the idea.

As a guy, I can't even imagine going through all the things ladies go through every single month—the cramps, the mood swings, the general discomfort.

And then on top of that, you've got the fatigue, the backaches, and the headaches—your body just puts you through the wringer. I don't know how you ladies manage it, honestly.

I understand that it is necessary for the monthly process to prepare for when it’s time to have a baby.

I understand the period is part of a woman's menstrual cycle, where the uterus sheds its lining if an egg hasn't been fertilized. So your body's basically preparing for a potential pregnancy, and when that doesn't happen, it just cleans house, so to speak.

Ladies, do you find the whole menstrual cycle to be super annoying and inconvenient during the time of the month? How do you feel about it?
