One of the reasons men get so angry over the friendzone is not because we lost our opportunity to be more than friends. Rejection burns but that is just a fact of life for more most men. Dating is like being a door to door salesman to us. Its up to us to make it happen and if we get a no then we want to move on ASAP until we eventually hear a yes. The disinterested girl is now just a liability if we continue to waste our time and energy on her.

Anyway the real reason we get angry about the friendzone is we feel like our masculinity isn’t being respected. Respecting a man surely doesn’t mean dating him, having sex and/or getting a relationship. Its understanding his gamble he took a (likely uncomfortably) by approaching you. It’s now your turn to be forthcoming about where you stand. It need to be done sooner than later.

Confidently assuming he is going to be okay with being platonic friends when it’s plain as day he wants more is disrespectful, cowardly and selfish.

While I can understand that women are nervous that men won’t take rejection well in reality most guys can take in in stride. If they do get angry or rude than take that as confirmation you made the right choice.

No the truth is most women don’t want to lose out on the benefits of having the interested guy in their orbit (attention, favors, ego boost, someone to use against you really like, etc.). They also know that interested guy will likely do more for them vs someone who isn’t. This is especially true of if they see the guy is “nice” which women either consciously or subconsciously find feminine. Most of them have no idea how deeply insulting that attitude to vast majority of hetero men.

Anyway I haven’t been “friéndzoned” in a very long time but I’ve had women attempt that crap (including grown ass women in their 30s). The attempt itself is infuriating tbh (a woman past 30 should know better. I feel there should come a point in a woman’s life where she should understand male psychology better.

In particular if your love is the one being poor but is working like a real horse and busting his/her A$$ to make ends meet and finance his/her seemingly endless needs for medical services and treatments (but fortunately not disabled). When you ask about their financial situation, the answer is "It's not easy to say the least but there are no excuses" or something similar.

It appears to you like everybody is against you getting married to your man (or woman if you're into that). It's you VS the world. Did you know, that back in time significant differences in social classes practically was a reason to disapprove a marriage contract? Those, who fought for love nevertheless were apparently stuck officially in Concubinage. Or they figured to do something else.

Will you fight for your love or will you give up?
If you do not plan or intend to marry, then vote the same in the polls but instead of fighting for marriage it's about keeping the relationship going without marrying.

They claim to fight for gender equality, according to some of the supporters, but what about an issue that's affecting men?

It's obvious that some man-haters celebrate this kind of thing and show what they really stand for:

Some men are reluctant to marry, because they have a lot to lose.

Before people start dodging the question, ignoring a clear, legal injustice and saying 'men shouldn't marry then' why not? Not everyone has kids either, so don't bring that up, IF you aren't going to answer the question either. Shouldn't men have the right to marry and divorce without losing anything that's rightfully theirs?

Some men want to marry and guess what, it's their right and they should be allowed to do so without getting 'divorced raped', because terms like 'mansplaining and 'toxic masculinity' get thrown around, so why not even it up a little bit and call out the BS from the hypocrites with a constant victim mentality? =)

Now, I'm sure there's people out there who call themselves 'feminists' who genuinely believe in gender equality and all power to you, because it's just a label and it's not the end-all-be-all to define a person's character, morals or behaviour.
