so, my main problem with asking out a class-mate, is that I'm forced to see them on almost a daily basis, and if she rejects me, it will create a very awkward vibe in class for basically the rest of the year, not to mention, you already know she's gonna gossip about it with her friends, so I'll kinda be "that guy she rejected" whenever they look at me, it'll be the first thing that comes to their mind when they see my face, the whole situation is anxiety inducing in every way

i fkin hate that guys have to be the one to go through this shit xD

I think the vast majority of the girls will never ask out a guy, and thus don't know the absolute soul crushing feeling that follows a rejection, and to have to be reminded of that every day in class, kinda makes it too high-risk for me.

but maybe im just overthinking everything, I need fresh outside perspective on this whole thing, please elaborate on your answers

I'm a supervisor that has a crush on 1 of my employees (I know I shouldn't but that's not what I'm asking.) I do joke around with all of the employees but just before we left for the day my crush (we'll call him Q) asked if I liked him. Right as I was about to answer 1 of my coworkers was walking by so I shook my head no. Q then said that a lot of stuff lately indicates I do. I walked away so I could finish my closing duties & I told Q "I don't like anyone & it's not allowed." Q said "I understand that but it seems like you do." I said "Even if I liked a employee none of them would like me back." Q said "Not necessarily." I said "I'm heartless." Q said "You're not heartless. You just think you are." Basically he knows I like him & he's always hanging around me a lot & of all us bosses I'm the only 1 he talks too. I could give more examples but I'm wondering if he likes me back or if he's just trying to manipulate me into admitting it so he can gossip with the other employees (I know he & some of them have talked about that.)
