Possibly. God said in the end times people would be a lot more cruel and colder towards one another. They would also exalt themselves over each other and become very self centered and prideful. We're seeing a lot of that happening in our society today and that mostly comes from antichrist, lucifarian like spirit/demeanor. All those are the traits, likeness of the devil. God is nothing like that and is 100% the opposite. This happening due to humanities severe lack in faith in God and the rejection of His son's sacrifice on the cross. Things will get a lot worse as we are heading closer and closer to the great tribulation and the return of Christ. But for believers God will give us peace and safety during those times as long as we remain faithful.
