I’m solo abroad for a week. Everyday , I’ve been going to the beach. I met a man online who lives near a nearby town and we’ve been chatting. He seems nice. He asked if I’d like to take a taxi to the nearest town and go on a walk or get a drink. He’s a local and said that he knows a lot of people here and that they might gossip if they see him with a girl ( me) they haven’t seen before. Anyway, I just want a platonic trip to see a new town with some company. I would be safe and only meet and stay in crowded areas. Do you think it’s a good or bad idea?
