Meeting a guy abroad and then probably never seeing him again...is it worth it?

Anonymous
I am temporarily working (in Wales) right now and I'm staying with my aunt and uncle. There are always people inside the house who are busy fixing it because it's brand new. I don't really talk to them and they don't talk to me. One day, I turned and I saw a very attractive man working on the floor of the house. I noticed him but I thought nothing of it.

Then, I was going downstairs and he asked me where my accent is from (California). I told him, and we started talking. I learned that he's not from here either - he's from Australia. For the next two days, every time I would walk by him, he would always initiate a conversation with me. Before I went outside he told me "take an umbrella so you don't get wet." When I came back with coffee, he made a comment on the coffee and I asked him if he liked coffee, and he said yes, so I made him some. We smile at each other a lot. While I was on the phone, he interrupted to tell me "bye, thank you for the coffee, and I'll see you tomorrow."

This was all last week. We have talked about a few things and we had interactions for a two days. Unfortunately, I'm really shy so I don't think I gave off the "interested" signals and I fear that he may have misinterpreted my shyness for disinterest :(

I can't stop thinking about him. He is literally all I think about. I have been in love with someone for 3 years before, and my last relationship ended last January, but I can honestly say that I have NEVER felt this way about anyone within a week of meeting them. And my family doesn't know how much I like him, they just know I think he's cute, but they told me that he's not coming back to the house. I don't know what to do with myself. Should I find his contact information? I really got the gut feeling that he was interested in me and I'm obviously crazy about him. But I don't know if he has a girlfriend or if he's married. Is this even worth pursuing or should I quit while I'm ahead? I'm going home next month.

additional info: I'm 22 and he seems to be in his mid to late 20s.

i didn't care until we kept talking so I know it's more than just physical.
