Is it wise to create a relationship with the man I met online?

We have known each other for over a year. We live in the same country but in quite far away cities. We've met at the occupational forum, and we kept in contact since then.

We have a lot of common topics and talk quite often using cameras, and we know what we look like. We met a few times in my city for coffee and dinner.

Lately, he told me he cares about me and would like to move further without explaining what he means. We agreed to return to this topic after some time.

But ever since, I feel awkward every time we talk. I feel safe in the current setup, and I'm afraid of a change.

Have had two similar 'friends' on line. Both of an intimate nature. One short term, and the other somewhat longer. The longer one, I do miss very much. We had some 'on-line' sex with cameras, and we did discuss a lot of other things, and she sent me pictures of her beautiful home. She was married, with a child and nice home and of course, no future for her and I. She left our association, in a nice way and I still think about her after several years have gone bye. I liked her very much, but that is all I can say.

It never hurts to take a chance, especially since you’ve known each other a year already and have video chatted. Ask him to define what he wants. See if he would be interested in creating a timeline for the relationship. You can meet people online; 3 of my friends met their spouses online long distance. I met my boyfriend online long distance.

Really just keep it online only it may be hard but it's usually better staying that way!
