Have you ever gotten in a serious relationship with someone you’ve met online?

I met a young man on a Christian dating site about 3 months ago and we’ve been talking every single day since. This young man is a year younger than me and we’ve met in person and even traveled to see one another. He lives 3 hours from me. We’re getting more serious and he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes ofc and now we’re working towards being together without the distance between us. Do you think this is a relationship that will last? I hope so. What are your thoughts?

It ought too because this has proved chemistry for conversation, attraction because you’ve seen each other, and compatibility because you’re both willing to live a lifestyle that is inclusive of one another. I don't know about future goals but you both seem willing which is a plus, and now it depends on you both if it will last according to when you run into any slight disagreements/differences. If either of you decides to not communicate, pull away, or so and you both just not reach out then the relationship will inevitably fade away or end. It’s a plant that is watered. Daily check ins, communication when changes happen. Those are key because that’s consistency and if both are happy with this consistency then voila you have a resuming and ongoing relationship. This seems like you found something great. The day either of you stop is the day the relationship stops so if you want this keep moving forward and if he does then that’s a great sign!

I met my husband online. It wasn’t forced it was off a game we loosely went a year without talking. Somehow got in contact again, didn’t stop and voila! We’re here 6 months strong halfway mark to the year and loving each part of it and each other. We have country differences so either way one of us will have to make a citizenship change and we’ve discussed this openly and readily. It’s what we both wanted, 100% through and through. The entire thing fortunately has been mutual. 🫶🙌♾️🥰 I am so confident this can work for you both, and being Christians can definitely be a plus and work in your favor. Yes keep in mind that what makes the difference on weither a relationship will last all depends on the effort from the both of you, an advantage y'all got here is that y'all already met, which means y'all got a small glimpse of being with each other, it only helps, as long as y'all don't give up on ending up with each other, it will last as long as y'all put the effort to make it last, No matter the circumstances.

Several times. Most that I actually met either turned out to be assholes, liars or fakes. Others turned out to be scammers. Only two actually turned out to be the real thing but eventually got scared off by other assholes that butted into our conversations.

Yes. More than once. It’s challenging, but if you’re both patient and willing to put in the effort, then it’ll work out fine.

Agreed with this 💯 % effort is a big factor now because they already get along well and like each other appearance wise.
