Do you think it's weird that another man is gossiping with a woman?

My husband know that me and my family are not close. My two sisters talk bad about me but he still talks to them. They all gossip together. I'm kinda turned off by it. I don't see him as a man. He told me that they all talk on the phone and I said cool be with them. Yesterday he told my sister's that I accused him of flirting with them. I'm confused because he suppose to have my back. Why would he tell?

He has the kind of personality that always needs to be liked so he tells them things so he's on their good side. He's probably very easy to manipulate... but I'm not saying he isn't aware of what he's doing. He just doesn't think you can or will do anything about it so he disrespects you.

If I were you I'd create some consequence for him that he doesn't like and tell him straight up that it's happening because he's being disloyal and you can't trust him. I'd remind him that he married me & not my sisters... but he can pick which one he wants to be with because very soon I'm going to leave him if he keeps up the BS. But you can't bluff. You have to believe all of this 100% and be serious. Follow through... don't just make empty threats. Leaving starts with separation. 100% no physical contact (no hugs, kisses, hand holding, anything).

I never knew someone exactly like your husband. I saw a more mild case but she was smart enough to stop the BS when she realized life is a 2-way street and she wouldn't like her azzhole family/friends knowing every detail of her private life. Some people only 'get' things when they see how it affects them.

In general guys don't gossip much but it's not like it never happens. However talking to your family about YOUR private business in ways that paint you as a bad person or give them ammo to use against you is 1000% wrong. Also, I would bet that if your sisters were butt ugly he wouldn't be talking to them at all so there may be an element of sexual tension there too. Nasty.

Also even talking to someone who basically hates you & treating them as a friend doesn't look like he's being loyal to you, does it? It's the opposite of being a good husband. I bet his own family has people like your sisters in it too.

i talk to her family so i can be close with them. i do it for her sake to try and bring us closer together by having good relations with her family. she also has two sisters but i don't say anything negative about her to her sisters or her mom and step dad. when i do talk to her sisters it's to try and help them out. a few weeks ago i had to make sure her older sister didn't drive home drunk or get in the car with a guy who was drunk and she was having a mental break down a few days later because a couple of people started talking shit about my girlfriend to her older sister saying how she died and some deranged people stalking my girlfriend and it upset her older sister hearing all this bringing about ptsd and it even upset me as well knowing they were talking shit about my girlfriend so i was trying to be there to support the both of them even though my girlfriend wasn't there at the time i still stuck up for her when people were talking shit about her behind her back. but gossip no it's something i would never do support yes but depending on what it is i'm supporting with my girlfriend certain things i won't. as for the flirting goes he shouldn't had done that
