So last month a guy broke up with me after dating a month and that was my first breakup. This guy only walked with me in school and gave me hugs and we did text a lot and he would text me really sweet things but I’m real life there was no romance. I felt really alone and then he came along. This guy never asked me to hang out, I would ask him “is it ok if I hold hands with you?” And it was always no so we didn’t do that either, and he never kissed me. Now, everyday goes by and I cry sometimes even for hours because it hurts me that I don’t think I’ll see him again and he hurt me. I’m crying over a guy who didn’t care about losing me over a guy that I’m not even sure of what his true intentions were and I want to stop I want to feel okay again.

My boyfriend was gone abroad for about a month and a half. During that whole time he we kept texting and snapping and all, and he kept telling me how I am one of the only things he’s looking forward to when going back. Now he got back last week and I spent an afternoon with him... and that’s it. Since then he’s busy with friends most nights and only gets back late and can message me (we don’t live together). Sure he apologizes but that doesn’t really do much after a while... Now I was supposed to spend a night with him next week (and since I am finishing school I am also really busy and next week is the only time when I actually have time after that it’s stress and exams...) but suddenly his cousins will be over so we can hang out maybe once but nothing more (um yay...). I don’t wanna be too clingy, but I am actually kind of upset, he’s been gone for ages and kept telling me stuff but frankly it doesn’t seem to make a difference now he’s actually here and all those messages seemed to have honestly just been breath without real intention... am I justified in me being upset or am I just expecting too much? Honestly I’m getting the feeling I should just drop this and just be friends (without any expectations) as I’m gonna be moving away to Uni soon anyway and don’t feel like I need an extra burden on the side...
