Up until three years I didn’t know International Men’s Day existed. It was founded back in 1991. However the United Nations still doesn’t observe but they definitely observe international women’s day.

For a long time I was against any “days” except my bday period. I believe the greatest minority is the individual. Giving special attention to a group of people may seem well intentioned. But it is also telling them they are more special than others just for existing. Psychologically this can be counter productive for many reasons. But that’s a separate long topic.

Anyway after seeing a ton more social messaging for “international women’s day” I thought twice about this. My thinking went from to slightly annoyed to borderline angry after seeing its “International Women’s MONTH” now. Why is that only one day always turn into an entire month with these things?

I think us guys (and thoughtful women) need to take international men’s day seriously this year. Do something for yourself and make it fun preferably masculine. My brother and I like to go shooting sometimes. I’ll call him up and take him to the range. I’ll make sure to post on social media about International men’s day. I won’t use the day to blame women for anything but just to be proud to be man.

Who is with me? We only get a day instead of a month. Might as well do something for us for once.

So basically I work with this guy and we used to be closer, I used to go over to his house and hang out with him a lot. We used to be friends but I wouldn’t call him a friend anymore.

now there’s been 3 different occasions where he thinks I’m talking shit about him? And instead of coming to me and asking me about it like an adult, he goes and talks shit and tells everyone I’m fake and that I said this and that. He even said his brother was gonna beat me up at some point?

But the annoying part is, he NEVER says any of this to my face. When we’re at work together, he’ll either give me dirty looks and we’ll avoid each other. Or we talk and joke as if nothing ever happened.
The times I have brought these situations up, he gets very apologetic “Oh I’m sorry. I say things I don’t mean. I just heard this and that, blah blah.”

The whole situation is giving me middle school. At this point I don’t care to try and be his friend anymore. Cause every time I’m around him, it’s this awkward tense energy. Like yeah we’re cool today but are you gonna be mad at me tomorrow?

So I don't know if I should just avoid him at work or if I should try and talk to him once again and be straight up and tell him exactly how I feel.

I've known this girl online for over 6 years, she's older than me and we use to date off and on. But we have mainly just been friends because she kept breaking up and wanting to get back together online.

Whenever she would break up with someone she would message me in a flirtatious way. A little over a year ago I had a close family member to pass while we were in a relationship and she broke up with me while I was dealing with that situation not making matters any good.

She also would tell me about guys she's dated or is dating and she would always message me about how she can't find a guy to date while breaking up with someone every other week.

She would as me for photos which I sent but she never sent me a photo of herself only once years ago, but whenever she would ask me I'd ask her if she would send me one of her since I did and she said she would but never did. She even gave me her phone number once and different people answered the phone as she said she lived with her parents. So I'm guessing it was her family picking up the house phone and not her actual number.

She recently gave me another number but always asked why I didn't call her and I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving out my number but gave her an email alias to contact me through which she never did.

She sent me a screenshot of something on her phone but I'm guessing didn't realize her messages showed with someone sending the message "Hey b***e (guys name)" So I researched her name and location and many people live there and showed someone in their 50s by her name lived at the address, was able to locate by phone number, and also a relative named (with the guys name) lived across the country.

So as of today she deactivated her account online not informing me, whenever I would make a new account or take a break I would tell her since we were friends.
