After 1 year of being together my gf parents started seeing as more than bf and gf. We all got along, but I was always bothered that her parents treated her like a child. She lives with them and has had jobs to pay for her own bills. She was also scarred from seeing her parents cause physical and emotional harm to one another when she was a child. Her parents split up which really affected her whole life, even until now. She has 2 younger sisters, but she's the only that cooks and does chores around the house.

Her Mom and Stepdad:
1) Give her a curfew.
2) They can't watch tv, talk, cook, do laundry or go out after 10pm
3) Make her cancel all her plans if her mom wants to do something.
4) Random spurts of anger (On Thanksgiving they've told her that nobody likes her")
5) They threaten to kick her out of the house if she messes up.

Starting this year we moved in together. We had our freedom, but I was let go from job because of lack of work. We struggled financially and would get into arguments more often. She visited her parents on day and when she came back she decided that it was best for her to retun home.

Now her parents treat her like they used to. They don't want her to come back with me nor for her to visit me. They want me to go over to their house and either stay outside or in their living so they can supervise us.

She thinks this is normal, that they are just looking out for what's best. We argue about this but she doesn't seem to understand.

Are her parents right or should my gf stand up for herself?

I'm in my sophomore year of High School, I know, you are probably asking yourself why the hell is he asking about this shit, but really I'm just curious, I don't want a relationship, just need to know. I'm a French guy, but being from Armenian descent, I look more Armenian than French. I have big curly, poofy brown hair, brown eyes, and I have a bit of acne, not nasty ass acne like HUGE things, but subtle, just on my forehead and that is covered by my hair, and there is no acne anywhere else. The hobo part is, I wear baggy jeans everyday (I'm clean though), I wear a band t-shirt, mostly Led Zeppelin and Floyd, I wear black Vans with brown border, and I wear a Zip-Up Hoodie with either Zeppelin or Pink Floyd on it like 97% of the time at school (I have really skinny wrists, don't like showing them.) Some things wouldn't know about me at first glance is I play guitar (Favorite thing in the world), tennis, and I ski, and sort of skate, but stopped a while ago. Now the girl I'm talking about is this quiet tall blonde girl that I've seen walking around. I don't know her at all, so yea. Her.. in short, she is a bit taller than me, very, very, quiet, and keeps to herself. She has long straight blonde hair. She is thin, like no boobs/butt (Doesn't bother me). And I don't know if I mentioned this, but she is none of my classes, and I don't know anything about her, even her name. She's in the same class, but a different period, so I see her on campus and during tutorial also. So ladies, would a Super Pretty Girl actually pay attention to a guy like me?
