The way she is towards me hasn’t changed. I just thought about it more now that I’ve developed a crush on her.

- she was always next to or near me in groups
- she’s more likely to go to something if I go
- she can spend an entire day mostly talking to me even if we’re in a large group of friends
- I felt like she liked me
- mutual friends think she likes me
- she generally talks to me in groups and tries to get my attention if I’m not paying attention especially if I’m talking to other girls.
- if we go to order drinks at the bar at a group gathering, she’ll wait for me rather than going straight back to the group.

reasons I now don’t think she likes me after I thought about it
- she hasn’t touched me or flirted with me. Most we ever do is make prolonged eye contact and even that she’ll sometimes look away or just blush.
- she has in the past distanced herself from me in groups by sitting further away from me and talking to me from a distance within the group.
- she blushes if others say something like “oh thanks for coming to the party and you even brought her along”.
- she’ll sometimes walk faster if we’re walking together.
- she doesn’t show the typical signs of romantic interest. She obviously enjoys being around me but probably in a close platonic way.

I have been single for a year now. I had two minor operations. One was a hair transplant (it’s growing in nice and thick now). The other is a threadlift. It’s a non invasive facelift.

I have gotten some compliments after getting this done. I started getting ID’d again at bars and a casino I hit up with my friends. People say I look 5+ years younger. So it doesn’t hurt.

Most people don’t know what I’ve done. Obviously not something I would volunteer. But straight men very slim “vanity thresholds” compared to women. We get accused of being gay, shallow, effeminate, etc. if we worry too much about our looks. However women do this all the time with much less judgment. Think of how a guy looks when he constantly posts shirtless selfies on social media vs a girl who shows herself off.
