I learned long ago if a woman volunteers information about a negative past relationship experience or worse talks about other guys she’s interested in that means I’m friendzoned.

Best to cut the conversation off quick and make myself scarce. She’s not attracted to me. Don’t waste any more time on her.

There are exceptions if the conversation was brought up in context (not volunteered). The other exception is we already had sex (but it’s still a very bad sign.)

Women think this is polite way of dropping a hint they aren’t interested to the guy. But it’s disrespectful to assume the guy is okay with being your friendzoned free therapist.

Better to be honest with him early that although you like him as a person you don’t look at him that way. But most women just don’t have the tact and/or class to do this.

Getting rejected because you are too short, overweight, too skinny, age, unattractive face, annoyingly pitched voice, etc does sting. It makes you feel generally less attractive. Besides your body shape most of those characteristics are genetic. BUT there is a peace of mind knowing you couldn’t of done anything better with your approach.

However if you got rejected because of your personality there can be some strong regrets knowing you had a chance. They say “well don’t change yourself for someone” but it is a bitter pill to swallow when your crush might of responded differently if you approached him/her with better game.

Also changing personality is not easy. Although it is impacted by your environment I do believe people are born with different personality characteristics. Introvertism runs in my family. My mother and her father were notorious introverts. Unfortunately I inherited that and in the USA introverts are usually looked down upon (especially if your male). But I have purposely put myself in social situations to improve. I’m not afraid of public speaking.
