When women are in good positions in life and have the capability to get commitment from men, they always choose a really tall guy to be their husband/boyfriend. Hell, when we look at past marriage data, it was found that when women are the breadwinners and better educated than the men, they often picked a male who was very tall to be their spouse. While women who were financially dependent and not so great position in life were more than likely to give a man that was considered short (5'9 and under) a chance at a LTR.

Thus we see that women see intrinsic value in a male once he is tall and he does not need to compensate by bringing wealth and status to the table for her to consider him good enough. A male who is tall and loses his job will still be seen as having value and worth in a females eye while a male under 6'0 will be viewed as a liability and someone to replace if he does not find employment soon.

Before anyone hates on me I’m 6ft3 so I think this way. Personally I love tall girls.

It's been said time and time again that it's not easy for most men to approach and flirt with a woman in public, and that even the most attractive confident men only have a 30 to 40% chance, at best, to impress a woman.

A 30 to 40% success rate still means rejection the majority of the time, and unlike in the pre-2000s, women nowadays tend to be a lot meaner and less empathetic about this than they used to (sorry, but it's true; a lot of y'all aren't nice).

Women also tend to not understand why only the most attractive, most ballsy 5% of men out there only hit on them, despite how many women will shout at, harass, curse out, or otherwise be viciously mean/rude to normal, decent men attempting to just get to know them better. (Not men being aggressive, rude, or not taking 'no' for an answer; just regular decent dudes.)

As a girl, are you the type to empathize with and understand just how hard it is for a guy (especially a not-handsome, not-fit, not-tall guy) to muster up the courage to ask a complete stranger to get to know him better and begin a potential relationship with him?

... Or are you the type of woman who will reject a guy loudly and rudely, because he was too short/ugly, wasted your time, or "couldn't see the tiny little wedding ring on your finger while you're holding your purse or phone" or something?

Let's be brutally honest, women prefer taller men. That's just the truth.

I am 5'6". Women hardly notice me. If only I was 6 inches taller I would be in a much better spot.

Also to point out, I have NEVER had a real girlfriend.

Even short, petite women want a taller guy.

At almost 28, I am not growing any taller. I was rejected because of my height to a girl who went into marry someone else. My only option is invasive height increasing surgery.

I am 5' 9" and that is very average for an adult Caucasian male in the US. I have been rejected by a few girls who were taller then me. It was a bummer but I survived. Most of the girls I have dated have been 5' 0" to 5' 2" but I have dated a few girls who were 5' 8" - 5' 9".

I hear short guys on this site whining about how girls all want a guy who is at least 6' 0" tall and it souds like nonsense to me. Sounds like butthurt boys looking for an excuse! Think about it: if girls refused to date guys shorter than 6' 0", then that means that 85% of all guys would NEVER have a date. You know that's not the way it really is.

I believe that SOME girls are size queens about a guy's height, just like SOME guys refuse to date a girl smaller than 36D, but thse are just outlier lunatics. But YOU aren't a lunatic, so do you have a height requirement for guys you date? (And if you post a comment, can you please state your height?)
