Needless to say, it's a fairly complicated situation that I'm in. And I use the word "relationship" loosely.

One of my brother's closest friends and I are involved in a way that borderlines between friends and something a little extra. But my brother doesn't know. This friend and I were involved a few months back (February-late March, 2 months after he broke up with his girlfriend). While I was on vacation, his ex-girlfriend stepped into the picture (some time in April). He wanted to try again with her one more time, so then he and I stopped talking.

My sister in law told me he recently (probably early August, not exactly sure when) broke up with his girlfriend (again, now his ex). And that's when he contacted me out of the blue (late August). It's like what happened back in Feb-March, and we get along swimmingly like nothing happened.

He tells me that he's not ready for a relationship right now and that he wants to improve himself first. Yet at the same time, he keeps being very flirty and gets fairly jealous when he sees me with another guy. Often times, I can see him from the corner of my eyes, watching me interact with male coworkers. And I don't want to be just a rebound.

I am the type to feel very insecure when I know that a guy remains friends with his ex-girlfriend (as would most girls). They had been in a relationship since 2014. I feel this way even more so, now that I know we all work in the same workplace (his ex is an nurse, and I will be too after I pass my exam). Also, they work on the same "home" floor but he gets floated a lot in the hospital. I guess part of the insecurity is because she's a little bit of higher standing and older (than him and me).

Can I get the thoughts/opinion/advice of my fellow people on this website? Avoid him, you'll only get hurt? Just stay friends? Try with him again?

After a long and painful 3 years on and off relationship, I finally ended it with my ex. It hurt but I will not be letting him back into my life again.
I just wanted to collect some answers in the hope I would feel better. I know guys will answer this and get funny about how I feel, but I ask that you answer honestly according to what you believe about your gender.
My ex would always like (not so much facebook) girls instagram selfies. This is both provocative and plain selfies. Most of them are edited and you can tell, but some are natural. Part of the reason I left him was because he wouldn't stop when I begged him to, due to how anxious and undervalued it
made me feel. I hoped after leaving I would stop having the urge to stop looking... but it hasn't worked.
I still look on some of the girls account because I have the push to. I don't know why, I can't stand him anymore because of the other reasons we broke up, but I just don't know why I feel the urge to look and see what he's liked?
Does anyone have any advice on how to stop or at least how long it will be till I stop wanting to look?
I don't wanna delete instagram because I have it for my own personal use, and I have blocked the girls, but I still feel the urge to go digging and it really sucks.
