For this one though I'd answer a bit differently. I'd still be being honest but I think height is an interesting one because the vast majority of guys prefer shorter, and women usually are a good amount shorter, so it really is just the normal thing. However some are clearly in different circumstances.

I'd be very genuine by saying something like "I usually prefer shorter girls but if she looks good and has an amazing personality, how can I say no?" Do you think she'd rather hear "yes I love tall girls"?

For those who are unaware, I just want to point out that these examples illustrate the differences between male and female perspective on dating. Men might have strong preferences but women are more likely to have strict requirements for measurable standards such as height.

From my profile you can say, I’m tall, handsome with a top career. I should do amazing right? I do get loads of matches, but not high quality ones.

Many women only view and recognise the most handsome, most successful, tallest men.
The rest are dead to them.

I completely disregarded dating when I was 23 roughly, I thought at 5’6 I’m f****d, I had always been very insecure and bitter about it.

What makes me consider giving up is the reality that when I see an attractive woman, she’s often distracted by endless options. ADHD attraction. It leaves me wondering if all this effort is even worth it. A friend told me the average girl has the same options as like a celebrity male. Kinda believable.

Should I just step back from the dating scene? It’s depressing. I can say I should be able to attract a stunning girl without too much effort when I realistically weigh up my life, my friends agree, so where is she? I starting to think so. I am Indian by origin and I get treated differently by it, excluded sometimes. Even in dating I’ll match with very pretty girls and they’ll hardly ever reply, just use you for their ego.

I have everything going for me and constantly improving, tall, look good, top career and so forth. But by being a non white your dating pool is cut in like 2 halves. It’s like having a disability.

Tbf my parents had it way worse, they can never forgive how a large group of white people used to treat them.
