Search Results: importance of experience

People talk a lot on the importance of being open to exploration, to be in the moment, to take on new experiences, to say YES to life. I think equally important often more important is the importance of saying NO. I think once we say no we open up a new chair we of possibility, whereas saying yes is well and good when things are well and good but often this is not the case and I do not think you really get a sense of where you stand until you can say no to something that pulls against your conscience. And until you say no, you are stuck with the same script where nothing new is possible. YES is toleration. NO opens up a new conversation.

Saying no to old or bad is as important to saying yes to new or good. in my opinion, if I had to choose only one option, I’d choose NO lol it’s more handy I use it more often lol
