This is my Christian theory on why Asians are successful

I believe three qualities are taught in both religious and secular society in Asia. These three qualities are:

1. Fairness

2. Tolerance

3. Mercy

North American Countries preach a gospel of self actualization and self enterprise, but it’s not always your spontaneous creativity and uniqueness that gets you success: It could be something as ugly or depressing as the willingness to vacuum the carpet 3 times a week at work or the willingness to respect an insatiable parent who is impossible to please.

Jesus said you would be judged based on how you treat the least interesting among human beings. Not the good looking athlete but the stuttering cripple. Not the genius academic but the struggling high school drop out.

This does not mean you are required to acrobatically attain infinite levels of patience the way an Olympian would, but it means you see beauty in your ability to nourish the spirit of the fighter and you value your opportunity to express God’s compassion and you attach meaning and importance to merciful purposes to sooth and alleviating suffering.

The bible says that if you respect the pious nature and demand for mercy, you will be exalted. It also says if you embrace the loving self style of compassionately personifying others in your head, according to their sacred God given value, that you will be honoured.

East Asians come from a society that demands far more tolerance by its citizens than North American societies because East Asia is over populated and resources are scarcer and work hours are longer and jobs are more competitive and family inheritance is less effective at building your position in this role since every single person in the country takes the same university entrance exam and university admissions are based on test scores and not life experience This high emotional and psychological tolerance leads to elevated collectivism and preoccupation with duty and social responsibility. The high price of housing also means most people never relocate leading to a sense of irrevocable subjugation and acceptance of predetermined obligation and position and societal duty.

This high tolerance level for unpalatable personalities and this collective mercy towards stragglers is the reason the Chinese philosophy mirrors the Christian philosophy and makes Chinese people successful in North American societies. Since Jesus said, only the tolerant would be rewarded for their compassion.

This does not mean you accept wickedness or wrong doing but it means you proactively try to avoid unnecessarily hostile paradigms and hateful interpretations of those around you. The guy who has bad qualities also has good qualities. The girl who made mistakes, also suffered a lot.

upbringing, i have Asian friends most seem to have good ethics

I think two characteristics could be added to your list. Most Asian societies downplay individualism in favor of collective good. ( The nail that sticks out gets hammered down ) and another seems to be a very strong work ethic. That's why Asians putsuch a premium on education.

Lol, most Asians are Chinese and neither of those attributes reflect their culture. In fact it doesn't reflect any Asian culture I had contact with. So this is all make believe. Not that it reflects any western cultures either even if we try to make it look so.

Asians had been mostly poor since the second world war. It's mostly communist policies, forced behaviours and cultural conditioning which have made Asians into a "tool" these days.

Most are mostly unhappy, and suicide is high in those countries.

I think that being able to collaborate with other people is a valuable attribute, as long as you keep your own personal thinking.

I think you are talking about Buddhist/ Hindu philosophy, because look at China and how they treat themselves and animals. Depends on the origin
