Noticed a guy checking me out several times and dared to smile at him once from afar. From then on he seemed to develop a little crush on me but never tried to pursue me. Now years later I see him crushing on other female strangers but for them he tries to flex his possessions and try out new clothing styles and in general just to look his best (he doesn’t approach them though). Why didn’t he try for me? Is he embarrassed to like me? Does he consider me low hanging fruit?

I recently texted a bit with him and he at first acted like he didn’t know who I was (doubtful). Until I confessed my crush to him he was really friendly and responding immediately. After that he was acting quite arrogant and he denied he ever had any interest in me and was even slightly rude about it.

A guy from my wider circle of friends doesn’t like me and gossips about me with others, hardly ever tried to make conversation with me, acts super closed off with me but vibes with pretty much everyone else. Recently he started teasing me about another guy look (a friend of him) I have absolutely no interest in like asking me „what did you two do last night? ;)“ with a mischievous smile. He looks as if he knows something but there is nothing going on between me and the other guy. Why does he tease me if we he doesn’t even like me as a friend? Is he just being nosy?

He sits near me when other seats or rooms are available, tries to keep conversation going and keeps checking me out and remembers every little boring detail I tell him about myself, keeps glancing at me when I’m talking to other coworkers or asks what we were talking about. One day he seemed annoyed by me and mentioned his girlfriend as if he tried to shut me up so he could focus on work which was very out of his character.

Why is he curious and tries to be near me if he is not attracted? Do guys act this way if they just have platonic interest in a girl?

There is a guy at work that mentioned during my interview that I seemed pretty cool (not necessarily as a compliment). He avoids me and acts pretty disinterested but can strike up conversations with everyone else. Do people avoid other people with a different temperament or does he just find me boring as a person? I don’t think he is the most interesting person either. He will act comfortably and nice to me in groups but aloof when we are alone. Sometimes when he is with others or when I talk to others he tries to get my attention by greeting me, turning away and smiling to himself. Does he think I’m not important enough to talk to until he sees me with others? Why does he act weird around me?
