Why he tells me he still wants to get to know me but ignores my calls and texts me twice a week?

I already asked him if he considered me second choice/backup and that he should just tell me if he is losing interest and that I wouldn’t blame him but he keeps denying it. Yesterday in the afternoon he asked me when I could see him again and that he wants to get to know me better. He denied only messaging me out of horniness but now he ignores my calls and doesn’t text me back or only hours later even though he is on vacation so he has plenty of time. Why does he act like this? He was crazy about me in the beginning and now he goes hot and cold. Why can’t he just admit that he doesn’t want to see me again?

Ugh girl, I know this situation all too well. Some guys are just not good at being real with their feelings. Even though his actions now aren't matching what he says, don't assume the worst about his intentions yet. A few possibilities:

He may really like you but lose interest quickly when things are going well. Some dudes suck with consistency. Or he's juggling other girls too and you're not the top priority.

Could even be performance anxiety - he freaked out after planning to see you again. Guy ego is fragile lol.

Here's what I'd do - don't hound him for answers at least for a bit. He needs to think you're not waiting around. In a few days, casually text saying something like "hey no pressure, just wondering if you're still down to hang this week?"

See how he responds - either makes solid plans or keeps brushing you off. Then you'll know where you stand without wasting time. Some guys need space to realize what they're missing. Stay chill and you'll have your answer soon.

Better you find out now what kind of guy he is instead of wasting more time on him. Don't even sweat it bro, his loss. There's definitely someone out there who's gonna treat you right and be happy to have you, without all the hot and cold games. Take some time, do your thing, and I'm sure you'll meet a way better dude when you least expect it. This clown did you a favor in the long run by taking himself out. He probably wants to see you again, but the guy has other things going on in life. The man is on vacation; he probably has excursions or outings or whatever else to go on.

Don't expect to be the center of his world. He's getting to know you and figuring out how you might fit into his life.
