Is there ever a time where it's too LATE to say "I love you"? It's been going on almost a year and a half--and he keeps claiming he only sees me "as a toy" (but his actions speak louder than words)! He also asked if I had feelings for him; which I SAID I liked him a lot. Since then, he's acted a lot "nicer" and more worried about it ending etc. I'm scared that my friends with benefits/casual boyfriend can't truly love someone because he witnessed a divorce... and each parent remarrying, as well as his brother getting married (who now avoids him).

His past girlfriends have been short-lived, cheated on him OR acted like they really didn't want sex with him anymore! He's also kinda has a BAD reputation; so it's really hard for him to hold on to a girl for more than a few months... but with me--it's standing the test of time. He only seems to know how to use people. Now, if anything we're "using each other" or so it looks like that from HIS point of view. To my family, it looks like he's my actual boyfriend etc.

In reality, I'm in love with him. I feel like telling him I loved him will scare him off. That being said--I feel like he needs to know someone cares about him. It's kinda like a service in which we have sex with each other and it makes us happy... BUT I have similar interests with him... I don't know what to do. I'm NOT going to end this because it's still pretty fulfilling for me :) ! Neither of us really want marriage--EITHER. So, has it gone on too long to tell him how much I really love him?

First of all I really really love my best friend. We‘ve been friends for 13 years now and we have helped each other through so many things. I absolutely appreciate her but sometimes her behavior makes me feel unheard.

She is a very open person, absolutely beautiful and very outgoing. She's truly a social butterfly and guys love her for that.

She was diagnosed with depression a few years ago but doesn't go to therapy and doesn't take meds to fight it. To me she never seems depressed though. She sometimes has extreme outbursts of emotions to the point i can pick her up off the streets but that's it.

Last time I told her that I felt so bad and didn't know how to mive on she yelled at me "Stop whining! Who's suffering from depression? Me or you?".

She is diagnosed with pre cancer and now has to do radiation therapy. She always tells the people that know about it that we shouldn't tell anyone because she doesn't want to be seen as a sick and weak girl, yet she tells every guy she meets herself.

Lately I've had a few health problems myself so I'm currently seeing a doctor. Basically i suffer from fatigue and my whole body hurts the whole time. My friend told me today that it is just in my imagination and that I should be happy to be this healthy. She almost gets angry or annoyed when I say I'm feeling bad.

She always tells the guys she meets everything about the cancer and because of that they treat her extra nicely and get hooked on her. Even if I might sound a little bit jealous myself i just can't shake the feeling that she does that on purpose and is now scared that she isn't the only one that's sick anymore. I feel like she's seeing me as a rival.

I used to think fighting for a relationship with someone I love was proof of just how important the relationship was but that taught me to never try to fix something that I didn't break. Flight is the only way to prove your value. I feel like the only way people will truly appreciate the love you had for them is if they can't get that shit back after handling your feelings carelessly enough to lose the priveledge of you loving them
