Especially because it leans into the colonialism narrative. Any time progressives win against colonialist powers they lash back harder and more vicious. Imagine taunting Steve with the death that follows him. Imagine the FASHION! I just need her to burn the world and blame Thor for it. For stealing her kingdom. I had two very different plots. Or Hela teaming up with Thor to take on Thanos for killing over half of the Asgardians. Because “her power comes from Asgard” and “Asgard is not a place. It is a people.” 😉 especially if it ends with her betraying Thor for final power and/or her being redeemed. Honestly just more Hela please. Like she betrayes him because I wanted to play off the scene of her with the fake gauntlet. Long con, baby! Since she’s a goddess of death she can bring back anyone she wants. Hela leading an army of past MCU villains. Loki, Killmonger, etc. Some survive some get put back down. Because I’m an asshole and I want to spit in the eye of ever “Marvel has a problem with death thin piece.” Everyone one who dies becomes her solider in the fight. So much more complex and angsty. Which also allows you to have a good reason to bring back any characters you want in other movies or for cameos. Like young Peggy.

this is that scenario.


suppose you're in a flight. there's a couple, two or four seats away from your seat, they seem to be a couple. in the beginning, the girl seems to enjoying herself, the guy seems to hold her hand with a warm smile, she's giggly at his attempts to flirt with her. then there's a turbulence, they stay calm just as the others, except a few passengers, tensed in their seats. now, now, the couple. they start upon some discussion. with every word, her face becomes visibly paler. the guy now looks smug and sardonic and distant. they carry on. the turbulence has gotten just over. the guy presses her face into the wall, horror stricken her face she's becoming breathless. just when she passes out, the guy and you make eye contact. what do you do?
