Okay, I've always thought I was terrible at flirting. I was talking with my boss the other night about the guy I like (my boss is only 3 years older than me, and we work retail. He's more of a friend to me than anything.) And he was asking if I'd tried to make any moves on the guy, and I was like "Yeah, all the time." And then I told him how I flirted, and he laughed and was like "I like your style." But I don't know if he was joking or not.
I'm SUPER blunt and obvious. I ran up to the guy I liked, and was like "HEY! -his name- I have a question!" I ran over and asked if he had a pet. Mind you this was totally random, and he was actually walking past and had passed me when I called out to him then ran over. He said no, and I was like "Oh, you seem like a cat person." We talked a minute and he left. The next day, I ran over to him and did the same thing, only this time I went "Are you right handed or left handed?" and we talked VERY briefly because a customer walked over. But he seemed like he wanted to keep talking. Another day he'd gotten his hair cut, I ran over and was like "You got rid of all your hair!" because he'd gotten it shaved, and he goes "yeah it was just getting kinda long and I'm pretty low maintenance" and I was like "Oh, we'll you're as handsome as ever!" He blushed and kinda looked at the ground for a second then was like "Oh, thank you" and then I ran away. The other day I asked him another question, this time his age while we were walking around his department (I think I was skipping a little... I don't know, I just have a lot of energy.) and he made me play a guessing game that made him laugh, then when I had to leave because my break was over, even though then we were with another of my friends because he works with the guy I like, I looked right at my crush and went "Oh I have to leave! I hope I see you later!" and then ran away.
Is this annoying, or a good way to flirt? I'm almost certain he knows I like him, but he seems amused by me at least.

Ever since this college semester started, I've been a very serious and dedicated student. Anyway, my teacher seemed to pay too much attention to the things I do. For example, he asked us to visit him during office hours to know our midterm grade. I noticed everyone went in & out his office very quick. When I went in the first thing he says-"oh I've been waiting for you", he then mentioned I was very serious, dedicated, and respectful during class. He mentioned he liked that I sat at the front because I helped him keep focus and that I was quite intimidating to him. Once I was rushing to leave his office since I knew other students were waiting, he pretty much stopped me by showing me every single piece of decoration in his office. During class he keeps looking at me and making eye contact. Now, I visit him again at his office to know the final grade. As I walked in, i knocked his door, made eye contact and said hi, he just looked down and smiled and said -"oh you're funny Marie". same thing again as the first time I visit him, once I was leaving, I said "I' ll see you" and I just hear him say with a certain tone-"I hope so"... he also gave me a book and a box of chocolates as a gift, although I refused to accept, he insisted and we ended up engaging in a conversation in which he asked me about my family and job..
