My brother used to live within a 2 day drive which allowed me and the family to visit him and my nephews at least 2x a year. Then he moved clear across the country near ZERO family, so the only way I can see them, is if I fork over a ton of money and fly. I am on a life goals plan that requires a lot of saving and sacrifice, especially after my business took a deep hit during the brunt of Covid. As a result of that, its been non stop work all hours of the day and night because with the online business, it never sleeps.

Like most people in this situation burning the candle at both ends, I need a vacation, but my brother has been asking me to come visit them and laying on the guilt trip. Aside from the money issue, because they have had no babysitters or family coming regularly because of the distance, whenever I have come, I have become defacto babysitter every single time. I don't want to spend what may be my one vacation having to look after 2 young screaming crying kids. Love them, but young kids are exhausting, and I need a true vacation for my sanity and they consider me visiting them, free babysitting because they don't get time off either without the kids. Am I being selfish for not wanting to go?

I know a lot of times people like to blame the other genders or ethnicities, but what about ourselves? I also know that you are not to blame for your entire gender or ethnicity, but I also know that this is an issue that should be talked about and not ignored. I also know some of you could care less but oh well.

I felt that it’s nobody business to tell me how I should dress or groom myself to look a certain way. If they don’t like or hate it that’s fine I’m not someone who gets offended when people don’t like it. But it’s none of their business to judge or tell me what I should do with my body. Don’t like it? Cool. Judging and telling ME what I should DO to my BODY? That’s crossing the line. Think about it, how would you feel if someone judges you for your fashion sense and other things? Have you ever put yourselves in someone else’s shoes? If you do, good. If you don’t that’s not their problem it’s YOUR PROBLEM! The reason why I’m more open to talking about this and saying that judging was wrong was because my favourite influencer is not afraid to express herself when she gets judged. She was slut shamed by many haters and she inspired me to not live to please people but myself even though I didn’t wear skimpy clothing like she does but I had respect for her.

When I saw some men who had very long beards, I admitted I didn’t like it. But I didn’t judge and I had this thinking that they deserved to have a choice we had no rights to change their mindsets. And my favourite influencer said not judging makes you a better person which is true. Stop wasting your time on others whom you don’t know that well but focus on making yourselves a better person. If you chose to leave hate comments here or start an argument you are considered a hater and as she said ‘haters don’t really matter and they deserved to fuck off’. I will not start an argument because it’s worthless to change people’s minds I can just simply delete them as that’s the easiest way out. She has changed me in a good way and I’m proud of myself. I demanded a judgmental free society for both men and women but it’s not happening! I’m not blind I know what I’m doing don’t assume I’m just a stupid fan.
