In my perspective, he's far from perfect but he isn't anywhere near as bad as many people try to make him out to be. In fact, he's probably the most relatable Assassin out of the rest (personality wise). I'm willing to bet the only reason why Connor receives a lot of hate from the Asassin's Creed fanbase are because:

1) He's not your idealistically perfect Assassin with a flamboyant personality like Ezio
2) Slightly poor (or just average) voice acting.
3) Nostalgia for Ezio.
4) Most of the loudest Connor haters are Ezio dickriding fanboys

Don't get me wrong, I also loved Ezio and think he's a great Assassin in his own way as well as being the best overall Assassin out of the rest (like many of the long time AC fan still believe up to this day). I do however, dislike his extremist fanboys.

You read people's opinions on how guys/girls think, how they like to approach or want to be approached, how they act in certain situations... but then when it comes to real life, you rarely encounter people that act or think the way you've been told in GAG.

Do you believe that what people say in GAG tends to be the exact opposite in real life? People in real life don't think and act like people in GAG say?

If you agree with that, then why are you still here?

Here on GAG as with every other board on the internet we recieve our fair share of trolls and trolling. Now we can write them off as a**holes but it seems more and more trolls are falling in a catergory where they are secretly asking for help. After facing many trolls and studying their behaviour I came up with a poll (esp applying to GAG) on what sane minded (hopefully) people think as soon as trolls see the need to throw in their two cents, be it long tirades or short snide one liners. It remians a mystery why trolls believe the board is for expressing an opinion other than what the general idea of the board promotes: i. e meaningful discussion, sharing expriences, constructive criticism.

This is not a post to troll the trolls, more like food for thought, to encourage the trolls to swallow their pride and ask for help. It may be unlikely you would fall in these catergories, but it is what the general public thinks of you

I've been reading a few threads on reddit and I'm interested to see how people on GaG have encountered those who they believe has Anti-social Personality Disorder. They don't have to be diagnosed, just as long as you have a strong reason to believe that the person is a psycho/sociopath.

Personally, I have reason to believe that a childhood friend of mine has ASPD. He's manipulitive, charismatic, sexually aggressive, never takes the blame, likes to hurt animals, has told me elaborate plans of killing people, very into drugs, bit of a pyromaniac, very egotistical, was abusive (emotionally and verbally) towards his ex. So much more things that I could tick off the list, to make me believe he is mentlly deranged.

What is your experience with these monsters?

my cousin is pretty self conscious about how he looks since he lost his hair to early balding brought on by TE at 19, he's only 20 just startin gcollege and there's girls he's into but he's worried without hair they're out of his league or won't be interested. I tried tellling him I don't believe no hair lowers his 'league' however I do understand looks matter, yes he does have high standards but I know him and he'd be a legit sweetheart to a girl not a player so I don't blame him for holding his standards high, I just hope to boost his self esteem a bit, so beneath are some pictures from a family vacation I have of him, tell me what you think of him, is he date-able to you? Does no hair put him in a low league like he's worried, or do you think he still looks good enough he can go for what he pleases? Be honest, worst case I just don't tell him (lets hope he doesn't see it in that case as he has GaG) however I doubt itll be bad, still cold honesty is appreciated. and please go just on looks, yeah if you know a guy it can do a lot but just picture if a guy like him approached you at a party or after class etc.

not really sure whats up with the links sorry you'll have to click, and he's about average height 5'10 and works out more than most people I know yet doesn't get much muscle haha, he is in decent shape though
