So I’m apparently good looking, I’m tall, and in shape. But my race isn’t desirable to white people.

But yeah, I mean I look at how guys get girls nowadays, I don’t feel like that’s to me to go up to a girl and be so full on and start kissing her.

It’s also all about looks and confidence. I don’t feel I have either, and there’s nothing I can do. I did very well on a dating app, yet it lead to no dates.

It’s just better to give up than not be myself. Society has always been very cruel on men.

This question stems from a conversation I had yesterday with another user about the idea that nice guys finishing last stems often from a lack of confidence or charisma. Thinking about the sort of dating advice society gives men, based upon my experiences, little attention is paid to things like charisma, and confidence. Though that trend has been changing, it seems. Do you guys think that the dating advice many men are given should change?

I don't believe in delusional confidence personally, I think everyone should be confident, of course. If other people think you're delusional, I would just say, that's their opinion.
