Search Results: how can i win him

The guy is Muay Thai class A pro-fighter at the local town's sports centre (Muay Thai oriented). I'm a beginner class B.

I don't know him properly, but I've heard some things about him (mostly good) and I have also looked him up at the fighter's page (he seems to be around my age or slightly older). He's really good at Muay Thai (thai box) and has already won a title and other fight matches as well.

I think I might already have a crush on him. :|

We don't always meet (me being a beginner, him a pro) but when we do he always seems to be looking at me, he comments on the way I do stuff (not always the right way, I have much to learn), he's not rude but he's honest, he's also quite playful, he's noticed it makes me very nervous when he (as an occasional trainer) watches me so we kind of joke about that. 😅 It's hard to explain 😅 My first visit there, he actually let me borrow his expensive skipping rope. He's also always ready to say hi (one time I forgot my stuff there so I went back to this sports centre, I didn't know he's gonna be there and seemed so surprised by seeing me dolled up a little bit in my more normal clothes).

I guess I can't really expect more because we don't meet that often. :/ But when we were getting warmed up, I was supposed to pull him over, he of course did let me win (I guess he sees himself as a gentleman, he has that reputation there, girls said he doesn't punch as hard when sparred against a girl). In that moment, when we touched and held each other's arms, I thought I might have felt something but I brushed it off.

I haven't been with anyone for a long time now so I might sound like a little girl again to you.

I will really appreciate anyone who reads this wall of text of mine and shares what they think.

A narcissist, on the surface, is a person who has an excessive interest in or admiration of themselves. They often come as the most "charming" people around you & someone who never fails to NOT mention anything good they've been doing. Narcissists are not secure people and the "self interest and excessive admiration" that shows, is usually stemming from a deep deep insecurity. They have an insatiable need of people's (collectively, never a single person) validation, to feel valued. 'Never a single person' cuz they usually cannot care about anyone particular other than themselves. A lot of times they're just BLIND to see the harm they cause to the ones they "care" about (covert nar.). Their reasonings can be anything, at any level, to justify their own selves and their actions. They can never be argued with bcz their minds are incapable of seeing their own self at the 'wrong'. They have to "win". They live to win, "reputation" is the most important thing to them. They're incapable of being vulnerable (could be cuz of a past trauma) to others. They leech out the people they're with, if you've been through that mental exhaustion. They all have pretty much the same patterns. If you've been one of their victims, you can pick out those patterns easily. Manipulations, gaslighting, not being truthful, conditioning, twisting words are just few ways. I wish you all the best on your healing journey & hopefully (not smth good), those triggers are strong enough that you never trust such person again.
