Sorry this is long. Basically he messaged me on Okcupid, says that I’m really beautiful, we’re in each other’s age range (I’m 36, he’s 41 and says he wants a girl my age) and supposedly I have everything he was looking for in a woman. The problem was I really wasn’t feeling any interest for him after reading his profile, and he lived to far away from me (I’m on Long Island, he’s in NYC and kinda want someone who is also on the island that I don’t have to commute to date). I sent him a polite message (that’s very sweet of you but I don’t think we’d be a good match). He sends me two long paragraphs in return saying he doesn’t understand, that I should give him a chance, that I might change my mind once I get to know him, that I’m already 36 and not going to get many more chances then begs me to reconsider because he wants to leave the city and saw getting involved with someone like me as the perfect escape from New York, that he wanted us to pick out our future hometown together and said that he was really shocked because I sounded so nice in my profile. I apologized again, told him not to send me anymore messages and blocked him. So tonight (about three weeks later), I get another message from him (from another account he created) telling me he still really wants to get to know me, he still wants me to get to know him then gives me his phone number and begs me to call him because we’re both on that site looking for partners and he could be the “perfect partner for me but I don’t know it because I’m not giving him a chance”. I told him to stop messaging me and leave me alone. I was with two friends when I got this message. One told me that I did the right thing because he sounded really desperate and the other friend told me that I’m not getting any younger (which I’m not) and he sounds really interested. She says I should overlook the differences and the distance and date him, so now I’m feeling really bad. What do you all think?

We were in an abusive tumultuous relationship. All he did was abuse me in different forms, be on dating sites, look at other women in front of me and was still in love with his ex that he was still talking to while we were together. I also found out from his ex he was trying to get back with her while I was pregnant by him. He hates and resents me supposedly but wanted to talk on the phone for hours with me, got jealous and accused me of messing with guys AFTER we broke up. Long story short I moved out from his house in Feb 2020 (same month I gave birth to our baby) and moved two hours away with my mom and changed my number. I recently changed my number and it's been 23 days and counting I haven't talked to him. I wonder if he misses me or has any regrets for hurting me? This is the longest I haven't contacted him. And he hasn't seen our baby or me in 4 months (but he's not helping financially anyway)

I think it's so unfair , my instagram is opened in his cellphone , I accidentally left it opened and he doesn't wanna close it. He blocked me because he says he was tired that I blocked him when i got mad , but things are okay now , I blocked him because he was being aggressive , and we were fighting and i wanted him to shut the fuck up , that's why I blocked him. But now I hate that he is blocking me because it makes me think he hidessomething, he may be talking to a girl , he is actually my ex , but we've agreed loyalty. When I broke up with him I was angry at him , I ignored him for almost 2 months and I fucked other guys, he didn't like the number of guys and at first I lied I said 1, 2 and then 4. So when we got back and he found out and got very hurt, 1 month later I found out he was texting with another girl , they've only kissed. He said he did it bc I told him I didn't want anything with him in the future and because he was hurt bc of the lies, but that didn't mean that I was going to look for other men like he did , I would first break up with him. He said he would never talk to her again. And he says he is not talking to her , but the fact that he blocked me makes me wonder , because he still followed her on Instagram and liked his pics and once I got mad at him and told him and he didn't give a fuck , he still followed her on instagram and probably still like her photos, but that's why I wanna check his Instagram, because I wanna know about that girl , I wanna know if he still followers her and likes her pictures. I feel so insecure this way. Tomorrow I will tell him that if he doesn't unblock me on Instagram I will block him on WhatsApp, but I'm afraid of what he could say, I would hate it if he doesn't care , and probably he won't obey me since he always thinks he is right. What the fuck do I do. I'm tired of suspecting. But I can't leave my ex now , I feel so lonely and he is the only one there , and I still love him but it hurts to suspect of him.

the guy I asked has an okay personality but he doesn't have anything strong enough for me - like the guy I like is really needy and I like feeling wanted and also he is very tall and thin while the guy I text is short and thin - and the guy I like is very very intelligent while the guy I text is moderately intelligent - the guy I like is extremely industrious and hard working while the guy I text is very industrious and hard working - should I keep hoping this guy gives me the other guy's number? I also don't want to alienate him as a friend if I keeping him the same question over and over again.
