Why doesn't he keep the conversation going any advice please?

So this guy asked me for my number... months ago randomly out while I was shopping... he was cute I gave it to him... we have each other on Snapchat... he used to talk to me more and wants to hangout in person when I can. He snaps me sometimes... we've kinda been super flirty especially him... so he wants to do stuff yk when we hangout. I didn't talk to him a couple days be didn't hit me up so...
. I decided to text him yesterday (night) and he responded in like 5 seconds lol then we texted very shortly. He sent me a pic and I was like cutiee😍 then he sebt me a 😘 but he went to shower and then later when I texted him wyd now. He just said nothing.. chilling how bout you. I wrote back to him saying I was about to watch some Netflix show and he opened it like 40 mins later and didn't respond so it's like uhhh. Weird he doesn't keep the conversation going.

I just understand why he doesn't keep the conversations going but he's down to meet whenever I can... weird.. guys help me understand. I mean if he's not even putting in effort I would want to do shit with him when we meet up... And he was the one who approached me at first he said I was super cute and he was shy to approach me but once he started texting me he was extremely flirty

Well it is normal when for people not to keep the conversation going but i think that this guy is playing with ur feelings and only wants to hang out and do stuff with u and i know by experience that this guy is playing u because like if u and him were flirty for a while and then he does not keep conversation it means that he thinks ur attractive but like it seems to me he does not want a relationship with u he only wants to hangout and do stuff well im not an expert but I know that when a guy likes u it is obvious the guy will message u frequently and like have longer conversations and i know u want to hang out with him and i totally understand

Yeah it's weird like when I wouldn't flirt back with him he'd always text me and he'd try to flirt with me so much... he'd always try to bring up having sex in the conversation. Like he'd send me things from Instagram or Snapchat and he's seen my pics and videos he knows how I look he always complimented me and when I finally started to flirt back... we made plans and he said he wants to do all this stuff etc etc... basically hookup... so like I can't meet till later but he said he's cool with it... now all of a sudden he doesn't text me like before. It's so annoying because I feel like he thinks he has me now so why try...

Don't assume he doesn't put any effort in you already. He did all the time before, maybe he was just tired this time. See this as one mistakes and if he makes too many in a short time then you can start worrying about his intentions.

Okay I guess but he's done this several times when we text... I asked him the other day if he just wanted to hookup once and that was it? I told him I don't care just be straight forward. And he was like no no I want us to meetup... hookyp and keep it a regular thing... like keep seeing each other... if it builds into something more than we can take it from there. And he said a physical connection is really important for him.
