Why can't I get a decent girl?

what am I doing wrong ? OK so I'm a 34 year old male. I'm in good shape. a little skinny but fairly toned. I'm tan, I have a good job, nice things, nice cars, not rich by any means but doin fine. I'm very social. have lots of friends. many have or get hot girlfriends. I am losing my hair but its shaved and like I said I'm pretty tan so I don't think it looks necesarily bad. I have had very good looking girlfriends and my ex wife is beutiful. maybe I just don't know what I'm doing any more since my marriage and divorce. my buddy is so so looking, dresses kinda like a slob, but in good clothes. really doesn't care about how he looks or what he says yet he gets tons of really hot way out of his league girls. I simply want ONE ! there's the occasional night out where it seems I have something about me that really attracts the women but its not very often and were usually drinking so I don't know what it is. what is it that you women want to hear or see ? seriously please help. I'm not looking to just hook up. I want a relationship but with an attractive women that's not way overweight and actually has something going for her. thanks for the help., oh, I am pretty confident and very out going, but I'm not so good at just walking up to a random girl because I don't know what to say or how to keep the conversation going.

Quite honestly, it's hard to say what the issue is when one cannot observe you. However, maybe there isn't an issue at all. Maybe you are focused too much on finding someone decent and it's obviously not panning out. Why don't you just go with the flow for now and just mesh with different females? Go out, chill, have a few drinks and have fun! Meeting someone with potential takes time and patience. In addition, you typically tend to meet someone decent when you least expect it or when you're NOT actively seeking it. When you stop and think about it, doesn't this sound like the approach your buddy seems to be using too?

You sound like you have it together and know what you want. Stay the course and let her find you.

You want it too badly. Desperation stinks worse than skunk, and people can smell it a mile off. (haha I read that somewhere) Anyway, it's true! You need to relax and just try to have a good time. It'll happen when you least expect it. Good luck, buddy.
