Culturally, harmful drugs like alcohol is accepted while the drugs that show promise like lsd are casted out due to fear mongering of politicians. At one point in time, marijuana was also seen in a negative light while cocaine was praised culturally. Now, psychedelics are listed as a schedule 1 drug along with meth heroin etc.. Why is that when the success rate for lsd, dmt and shroom users show promise? After people have taken these drugs they have shown better compassion, understanding, finding your true self, the death of ego, no more anxiety, a cure of depression and even creating new neurological pathways in the brain which was once thought to be impossible. If these drugs were as accepted as marijuana then humans as a whole could improve and move forward as a species. Our crooked laws has halted the process of studying the benefits to the point where scientists had to break rules and be discreet about these drugs in fear of being sentenced to 10+ years in prison until a few years ago. In my experience, it seems like Mestizo and Indigenous Latin Americans suffer from internalized racism the most out of any other ethnic group in the world. Most of Latin America desperately tries so hard to completely Europeanize their culture and racial demographics while rejecting and denying the existence of Indigenous people of their countries (no matter how painfully obvious it is that they have a noticeable amount of Indigenous population) and their contributions to the Latin American culture.

The term "Indio" is treated as a insult in the Latin American culture, which literally means "Indian" in Spanish. There's also the concept "Mejorar la Raza"(meaning improve the race in Spanish) where Mestizos and Indigenous people are trying to completely breed their Indigenous ancestry/blood out with White European blood while the Mestizos and Pure White Latinos racially discriminate against Pure Indigenous people.
