With that being said, do you think male/female relationships in which the men are much older and therefore able to hold equal power to his young female partner, more stable in the long run?

I'm asking this question for my job coach. He overheard my crush saying she wasn't trying to "reject" me.

Today I found out verbally that this week will be my crush's last week working at the thrift store that I volunteer at. She (19) is a few years younger than me (22). My job coach (33) is much older than me, but they seem to get along slightly better - just slightly.

For the "longest" time (I'd say about a month or two) I hadn't opened myself up to the girl I approached. Despite her being younger than me, she was actually in charge of the site where I was helping with donations and stocking clothes separately by gender/age (men's, women's, kids') and type (tops, bottoms).

Once I heard from her that she was quitting, I asked her where she thinks she's considering moving to as far as career goes, and she said she's moving for school. I prompted that she didn't mind me asking, could I have her number. She said no, I apologized by saying sorry but she told me not to be sorry since it's work and she has to keep it all work-related, even after I said I just wanted to make a friend.

THAT was when my job coach started hearing the "reject" part from the girl's mouth. To be fair, my job coach even told me that when he and she first started talking it seemed a bit off. The girl was supposed to just be a temporary employee.

My job coach thought that I was making the girl feel uncomfortable and the disability program I belong in has guidelines regarding communications/appropriate talk with the opposite sex. I've literally seen job coaches flirt with each other in the program and people didn't seem to think it was a big deal.

The girl and the male job coach both are white people of European ethnicity. I am ethnically Arab and Armenian.

The rules exist because of the monetary rewards system and the points get downgraded if misbehaviors and even flaws are pointed out by the job coaches. Men with disabilities are almost treated like children in many cases.

Growing up, I was a major outcast and suffered with a lot of severe mental health issues. I had interests that were obsessive and unusual, such as an interest in fire alarms, phone systems, and intercoms. I missed a lot of school due to mental health reasons that required hospitalization and residential treatment. I hardly fit in with anyone at school, and girls especially didn't pay any attention to me. I was also (and still am) short in height at 5'6". I missed a lot of developmental milestones that I reap today.

I was never athletic in school. I was not involved in sports really. I was, however, involved in boy scouts up to age 16 and transitioned into the fire explorer programs.

Socially, I have always struggled. I was hoping adulthood would be better, but it turned out to be worse and a nightmare.

I am 27, almost 28, and I never had a real girlfriend. My absolute biggest regret that kills me to this day is not experiencing young romance. I so wish I was able to form those memories with a girl when I was young who was around my age.

It wasn't until I was around 19 when I had my first kiss with this girl I found repulsive to me. I tried dating her, but it just didn't feel right. She just was not attractive to me.

Also, there was this girl named Izzy that was around 15 when I was 18. Although we cuddled and I kissed her, she became a transgender man and resents me. There is no going back there.

When I was 20, I lost my virginity to another 16 year old girl during a weekend fling. She did not want anything to do with me romantically after that. In fact, I was convicted of stalking because of her (long story).

After that, all I have had is online things with girls where they rejected me upon meeting me in person because I was unattractive to them.

I haven't touched a girl in 7 years. Meanwhile, all my peers and former friends I have known are married and have kids.

I want a woman without a romantic past where we can be each other's first loves.

I am 27, turning 28 in a matter of months, and I never had a real girlfriend. Meanwhile, I am watching all my former friends and peers I have known growing up get married, have kids, or both. I mean fuck... even most high school kids have probably had more relationship experience than me.

I am only wanting a woman where we can be each other's first loves. Essentially, I am seeking a woman without a romantic past. I may end up alone the rest of my life, and I am fearful of that. I never imagined I would be this old and in this situation.

To make matters worse, I am starting to get too old for college age women. Why would they want an old fart like me? Sadly, the younger women are my best option if I am going to get a woman without a romantic past.

I feel like my whole world is falling apart. I always wanted a girlfriend, wife, and a family of my own ever since I was a kid. It is beyond disheartening to know that may never happen. I feel incomplete and missing my other half.

I haven't touched a woman in over 7 years either, so I am involuntary celibate. The frustration just mounds and builds more and more overtime.
