POLL QUESTION: Are you willing to spend a lot of money on the first date for a VERY pretty girl?

Or homecoming? How would you do it (would you go all out with a sign and balloons or flowers, or just ask verbally?) please note I don’t mean on a date. Just to prom or hoco specifically. And under what circumstances would you give up on him asking you out and just ask him out instead?

Please don’t give me tips or whatever. I just need those three questions answered.

3. Under what circumstances would you ask him (not like, “in the evening”. I mean more like “if I’ve hinted to him I’m going and he hasn’t asked me,” or “I wanna go with him but he isn’t asking me,” etc?)

I recently asked a question on who is more handsome between Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill. This morning Cavill was the winner but now, almost 24h later since I asked the question, in less than an hour Momoa's votes doubled. And by doubled I mean he received like 35 more... these are obviously fake votes as it doesn't make sense for the votes to go up so quickly after the question was getting old and the voting started to freeze in the past hours.

So the draft aka selective service is something all males 18-25 in the United States are legally required to sign up for. But at the current time women are not required to do so. Although there has not been a draft since 1973 during the Vietnam War in 2015 this issues came to light when all combat roles were opened up to qualified women. Originally it seemed pointless to have women included in the draft as they could not fight in combat positions but now since they can should they be required to sign up for the draft? Many are saying since women want equal rights they should have equal responsibilities and should have to sign up just as men do. Others are noting the fact that women are biologically weaker than men so they would not only be putting themselves in a larger amount of danger than a man in the same position but also putting the men and women around them at risk as well. Personally I've seen very compelling arguments for both sides so I'm on the fence. What do you think about this issue? Should women have to sign up for the draft? If so why or why not?

(Sidenote: Something I noticed on my other question is that people were saying we should get rid of the draft altogether but realistically this is not possible. As in a time of need when more soldiers are necessary than the ones already available selective service is vital or we will loose).

As much as it may sound like it, this is not a religious question. I don't care if you've ever read it or anything, just curious if you've heard of it?

Backstory: I'm currently in the police academy (moved to GA from MI so had to go through theirs). Anyway, so as a part of this academy, we need to pick a class motto. Someone suggested "Here I am. Send me." The class loved it.

If you don't know, this is a quote from the old testament of the Bible. A lot of law enforcement uses it to say, "I'll go to defend" and a lot of military branches use it to volunteer to go to the front lines. It's not necessarily used in its Biblical sense.

So the lady who sits next to me in the classroom was grumbling the entire time that she didn't know what the quote was from so I told her, "It's a quote from the Bible."

She asked what that was and I specified, "the Christian religious text. The Christian Bible."

She said, "Well I'm Jewish. We don't call it that."

So... I'm over here just flabbergasted that this lady (55 y/o) who was born and raised in the heart of Bible Land, Georgia didn't recognize the name of the book. I don't care what religion you chose to follow/not follow but I (apparently stupidly) was under the illusion that most people would be able to say, "The Bible? Oh yeah, that's what Christians read," even if they've never read it themselves.

I figured most people would know that Christianity is a major world-wide religion and would know that Christians read the Bible. I'm not Jewish, but I know that Jewish people read the Torah. I'm not Muslim, but I know they read the Koran.

From what I understand, the big difference between the Torah and the Bible is the New Testament. This is a quote from the Old Testament, which, to my understanding, is included in the Jewish Torah.

I'm sure this makes y'all think I'm super close-minded and maybe I am, but I was just floored by this lady.

So I'm here to poll the masses. Are you aware of what the Bible is?
