I have been feeling incredibly heartbroken, inept, and lonely for a very long time.

My background:
I am 27 years old, turning 28 later this year. I hardly have any friends, and I have never had a real girlfriend, especially nothing long-term or serious. I have had sex only one time 7 years ago during a weekend fling, but nothing progressed from that. I haven't touched a girl since.

I am a software developer, and I make a very comfortable, decent income. I have my own apartment in the city, and I own 2 cars and a very large RV. Career-wise and financially, I am doing well right now.

Sadly, women hardly ever notice me. I am suspecting my short height of 5 feet 6 inches is the culprit. I am average in looks at best.

I can understand me being in this situation if I was asexual or aromatic, but I am the exact opposite! I have always wanted a girlfriend, wife, and kids of my own.

Yes, I have high standards, but with that aside, I haven't managed to attract ANY woman.

I feel extremely depressed, especially seeing most of those I have known growing up getting married, having kids, and/or both. The l cast majority of my peers I have known are married, yet I haven't had my first real girlfriend. I feel inadequate and almost subhuman.

First, very few men care about living life as an influencer and it's hard for men living like that.
Most women nowadays only care about living the Kardashian dream and becoming famous on social media at any cost. Popular magazines promoted this lifestyle and indoctrinated it in people's minds for decades now.
It's easier for women to become an influencer. Women care more about their own looks than men do. Women can get a lot of free stuff even if they are not earning it.
Businesses and guys hand out anything at female influencers. I have seen women causing drama in restaurants if they are not giving away stuff for free for promoting them on insta (which they even didn't ask for). Generally, businesses don't want bad names for them so the girls can get away with that.
Women are even going to extreme lengths for living a royale lifestyle. Search at the story of "Anna Sorkin" or watch the new Netflix show, "Inventing Anna".
I have even seen with regular women, friends. They are not working don't have any degrees and yet spend thousands on clothes, super expensive hotels, or restaurants almost every day. It's either their daddy's money or boyfriends. You will say that men are getting sex, yes true but the cost of getting it is increasing with time.
Even if some women are making their own money they are still expending high amounts of it in personal expenses and barely any savings. Plus altering their bodies to look like the influencers.

Thereby fashion and glamour industries are making big money and those industries actually don't make any significant contribution to human society.
Recently I have seen a woman raising money for the treatment of her father on Facebook. She cants afford the hospital bills and neither can her father. But all her previous Facebook posts were much glamourous, expensive holidays, five-star hotels.

I'm male no I'm not gay , but if I had option to switch genders for year to see what it's like to be women then. Yes, just not looking to have sex with any men. So don't ask. Females do things I don't understand. Coming from big with many relatives. So there many thing I do understand because by being homeschool while my father worked long hours my siblings and I 99.9% agree with our mother in thinking wise then my father. Not saying there isn't thinks we don't agree on. But most Girls/Ladies I come across in different state they thinking is very weird, and everyone tells me because I wasn't around most kids my age nor socialize with anyone except my siblings. Like I've been living under rock all my life.

These are some possible red flags I've noticed in certain women
. If you're looking for a good partner for a stable, healthy relationship filled with peace of mind, this could be worth a read:

1. Long (fake) nails
2. Fake hair (~long and/or bright colored)
3. Makeup (mostly heavy makeup)
4. Big earrings
5. Provocative clothing
6. Very active on social media (attention seeking content)
7. Questionable.. questions (e. g. "babe do you think I'm pretty"..)
8. Tattoos/body mods/piercings (especially in weird places)
9. Most/all of her friends are male.
10. Promiscuous or Using sex as a proxy for feeling loved and adored
11. S. I. G. N language (Shaming, Insult, Guilting & Need to be right)
12. Herd mentality/No sign of individualism
13. Spoilt brat-like/elitist behaviour (e. g. people who refer to themselves as "bad b*tches", claim to have "very high standards" or are "high maintenance" )
14. Materialistic
15. Their actions don't follow their words
16. No sense of boundaries
17. Uses past events or personal information you gave when you 'opened up' to them, as ammunition against you during fights or quarrels.
18. Clingy, jealous or possessive
19. Frequent quarrels over trivial things
20. Habit of lying as it could escalate over time
21. Has a tiny, little girl/baby-like voice
22. Expects you to 'mind-read' their thoughts and/or 'hints'
23. Shit Tests---"used to determine your frame. Frame is a concept which essentially means 'composure and self-control.”
24. Ultimatums
25. Can't/doesn't take 'No' for an answer [Shouldn't be ignored; possible sign of an abusive person, may lead to tantrums, physical assault or other 'crazy' behaviours] )
26. Comes from a broken/toxic/abusive home and/or lacks (proper) parental figure (s).*The issue is many don't seek professional help and/or properly work on themselves so they carry that mental/emotional baggage into their relationships.
27. They're often passive aggressive

Not everyone, I don't even think a majority, but there is some unreasonable amount of people who still think that the ideal straight relationship is a rich man and a sexy woman with an exclusive-access contract.

If that's what you want for your own relationship, okay, whatever. But why think that this is what all relationships are supposed to look like? Why think that this is the way men and women should naturally relate to each other?
If that was really the core of the man/woman relationship, then it's not much of a relationship at all. It's more of a business deal.
